    My Tacoma is making this obnoxious creak/squeak from somewhere in the left rear area of the undercarriage. I inspected the driveshaft myself and determined that the U-joint is not the problem. The noise is not getting worse, but it is getting more pronounced. It comes and goes, and it seems to be most common when I am riding the brake pedal at speeds below 10 MPG or so, or when I'm driving the truck for the first time after its been sitting overnight or for several days.

    The truck passed state safety inspection last October so I don't think it's anything major, but the noise is driving me nuts and I'm going to be using the truck a lot for work this weekend. Thus, I have decided to bring it to the dealer.

    Hey, I get a free loaner!
