it's a Viper Alarm system and it works very well , in order to have the Smart Start GPS you need this as this is the actual alarm system . The Smart Start module is then wired to the alarm

The Viper Alarm still can be activated by the remote and that has remote start , this can be activated over a mile away . Also the alarm is a 2 way talk back system so it will tell you your vehicle has been tampered with .it also will tell you your door is open or unlocked

Now the Smart Start module allows you to unlock , lock and start your car / truck from your smart phone even open your trunk or activate a panic alarm . This can even be done anywhere as it has unlimited range . Lets say you're in Hawaii and the car is on the East Coast of the Mainland , you can start or unlock your vehicle

Also the Smart Start has some nice features as GPS tracking , there is also another Viper module you can have such as WIFI / Bluetooth . The Viper WiFi / Bluetooth will automatically unlock your car once you're within a few feet from your vehicle

For the Viper Smart Start you do have to pay a yearly $99 fee for the service and it also includes a towing service free . The Smart Start is basically the same as GM's On Star

    Here's the Viper Alarm I've got ..

Measuring up hot tub feed and swimming pool rewire tomorrow after work. Gotta get pipes out from under new slab before pour. Same home I did a service upgrade last year so plenty of power available. 2018 seems busy already. Wish the wind would die down....

    Dam twice in one day.
Next door neighbor snowblower in the middle of the drive.
    Just sitting...
So after I eat I go out and start doing the end.
He comes out with a dejected look on his face.
    Won’t throw....
    Ok let look .
Auger spins, shaft spins, no slinger..
Yeup. Stopped yesterday and didn’t clean out the front.
    Froze.
    Supply torque,,,,,,,,,,,snap.
So he needs some slinger pins or a new shaft.
I hear the other guy across the street pounding on his blower..
    Fun in the neighborhood.
    Another one coming Tuesday.. yeaaaaaaaaa.

Evening all. Breezy and cold here but no snow. The big boys were out practicing on the lake for this weekend. I saw some of the rigs at the Marine store on the way home.

The time when their not really cool is when they are thunderheads. At that altitude the crash of thunder is just crazy.

Guess it is closer to Spring than I thought. Couple of hours ago was on the deck and this guy came through

Almost grabbed the .22 instead of the camera but he gets a pass this time. Not likely to get a pass if I see him again. Don't find them this far North that often. Must have been warm enough to wake his dumb ass up.

Steaks salted and almost time to fire up the Jumbo Joe.
