Custom LED Map and Dome lights

You could also just wrap a piece of scotch tape around the bulb and pull them out. That's how i did it without dropping the whole panel up top

 

I would like to mention to people, who like me are sorta idiots with electronics. I initially pulled the bulb, but then didn't know wtf to do, so dropped the whole thing. So, for people who go this route, all you need to do next is plug the end of the meso light electric tail into where the bulb was. It might take a little push, and I found it went in easier one way than another (just 180 flip, could have been mental). If you still get confused, just pull the whole thing, it becomes pretty clear after that. When pulling the whole thing down start from the rear of the truck and pull down, then once that is loose, pull from the front of the truck. There is an electrical connection up there, so once it starts getting loose don't go too crazy. The initial pull will take some force though, don't be scared.

I'm really trying to avoid that but it'll be my last result.

I'm just not replacing the fuse until I get them installed. Not sure why this is not easy, I really don't have sausage fingers.

I feel like the punch line in one of those cheesy "How many _________ does it take to change a light bulb?" jokes...

I also tried that with 3 different types of tape with no luck. It even made the bulbs sticky and I till cannot get them out.

 

Use a pick tool where the bulb slots into the housing. Pops right out.

 

Wrap thick tape around small needle nose pliers and gently grip and pull map bulbs. Easy as could be to remove, GOOD LUCK!

I wrapped needle nose pliers in rubber tape and was still unsuccessful.

 

I have done three map bulb swaps this way, hope you find a resolution....

Pulling that panel is seriously super easy. Took me a total of about 2 minutes for both bulbs

I agree. Don't be afraid to pull that panel down. In my humble opinion, it is way easier than trying to fish the bulb out of that lens housing and then trying to put the new one in.
