I use red on all suspension bolts, overkill is way better than a wheel flying off imo

I replaced all the balljoint bolts with new OEM ones. The torque spec seemed pretty high for used rust/dust incrusted bolts

I just didn't have any and didn't want to go out and buy any lol. I use blue on almost everything now. Never had a problem with bolts backing out when torqued correctly. I mark them with a paint pen so I can see if they move. I'd say overkill it if you had the red at your place, guess I'm just a tad ignorant and didn't want to go out and get any lol.

Got brakes, rotors and drivers side shock mount done. First time rotors and mounts have been changed (04 4x4 xcab with 202k). After turkey season will be the first time the clutch and cv axles will be changed.

Some come with them, depends on what part # you use. But you're always supposed to change the bolts

question for you suspension guru's. Should I relocate my shocks this way? Im running them in the stock location. I do DD my rig, but I like to play on the weekends. I heard this way is not ideal for a DD / \

I was gonna say I got them from Gunny and he confirmed that the ones he sells came with them. I always try to use new bolts when I can.

/ \ is not ideal for really anything but putting a longer shock where it shouldn't be. That's why mine are as close to | | as they can be, so the shocks are working as efficiently as they can. The further from being perpendicular to the axle that they are the less they're able to control movement. When you angle them you change the lever ratio so that shock travel does not equal suspension travel and valving needs are different as well.
