No idea, but I’d be shocked if it’s under $700.

A week or two ago they had a Col. EH Taylor warehouse C “Tornado Survivor” in the window. That’s a real unicorn.

I only have 2 hands, I'd grab the Remy Martin Louis XIII and the Hennessy Paradis.

I knew the AE rye was hard to get but didn't realize it was only a twice a year deal. I've almost polished off the bottle I bought so I went back to see if they still had any. There were 2 left so I grabbed one. Guess Im going to have to ration it!

Noah’s Mill is a nice one to have in the stash, relatively cheap and easy to find in my area.

I've been wanting to try a whisky/whiskey with some smoke, but the Scotch Islays are always described as having a "medicinal" or "band aid" taste in addition to the smoke. That does not appeal to me in any way.

I read a review for this Corsair Triple Smoke American whiskey that supposedly has good smoke flavor/smell but none of the band aid. To be honest it looked a little gimmicky/hipster and I was wary, but it has scored high in competition, so I got a bottle. Turns out it's pretty darn good. Really good smoke but not overwhelming or dominant. With a small splash of water it opens up and virtually no burn.

While it's not up to the standard of what I normally drink, I had a couple glasses of Jim Beam Black tonight and it really impressed me. If I had a decanter set, that's what would be in it. It's pretty damn good.

Personally, I think that Jim Beam is underappreciated, as far as bourbon goes. In my book it's on par with Jack Daniels for around 75% of the price. Their bourbon and rye are typically what I use if I'm making a bourbon mixer because it's got good flavor and is a lot easier on the wallet.

Hibiki Harmony may be my new favorite non-scotch blend.

When I want smokey I grab this. Didn't care for it at first but love it now. Not at all medicinal tasting IMO. The Corsair sounds intriguing.

It is very good. One of my favorites too. If you can get Blanton's give it a shot. I find that Eagle Rare with the right splash of water and about 40% cheaper, is pretty darn close.

I may give it a shot. I only have 2 scotches in my bar at this point as I'm really digging American whiskey and bourbon at the moment.

I literally took Eagle Rare to the counter before I saw the Hibiki behind the counter. Eagle rare was $49 and Hibiki was $63. What’s crazy is that the $90 bottle of hakashu was out on the floor. Not sure why the Hibiki was behind the counter but I’m digging it.

Actually, no. It was Angels Envy, not Eagle Rare. Still came home with the Hibiki.
