Yeah dude. Here is what I'm going to try first. I did some calcs and I think it will move the point of contact away from the tire by about 1.5". Not sure if the drawing makes sense but basically I will open up the angle of the fender on the rear. It's going to take lots of cutting, grinding, and filling. Dunno if I'm even going to be able to do it.. to get the paint off in the corners to reweld. FML

Looks like it should work. When I use to weld back vaults together, we sometimes had to turn up the heat on the weld to burn off left on paint and other impurities. Good luck

Just start from scratch and make some sick fenders. Might as well.

I made these ones from scratch.. it took me a lot of time and around $300 worth of material. I only have two weeks before I'm supposed to take it out, I can't even work on them this week because I don't have access to the lift to take of the tires.

I'm so screwed. I can't believe how bad I messed up. Honestly super down about this whole thing. If I modify the fenders they look like shit. If I make them from scratch then I don't have enough time and I lose a bunch of money

I don't know of any way I could modify it. Each one is bolted through the frame in 3 places. I wouldn't want to mess with it anyways.

Add a spacer, weld spacer to existing frame, rebolt through new "frame" easy peasy

2" or 3" whatever you feel would give you enough tire clearance.

It would have to be high enough to move the suspension to an area where new mounting holes could be located. It would also mean that the piece of tubing I welded in the frame to resist torsional forces of the suspension would not work as well. I think it would be safer from a structural standpoint to just rebuild the fender

Just make sure you don't fuck up the fenders like I did or you'll want to jump off a cliff for a while. Lol

I think I might try to go to a 33 inch tire. If that would solve my problem it would be worth it. I currently have 315/75 R16 Toyo Open Country tires. Not sure what the width of the rim is right now, so I don't know what tires to be looking for
