I'll entertain the idea of a dual color LED board. My only concern is how to activate/choose between the 2.

Maybe the rocker switch in the overhead panel can be replaced with a equally large 4 position slider. Then have both map and dome two color. Then it would be OFF - DOOR - ON (Primary Color) - ON (Secondary Color)

    ??????????

Oh, and the button that slides could be a press fit but not just a regular square button but a plate, and not just any old plate, but a mini version of your 3D printed logo decal plate!

Now that would be the shit!!!!!!!

People have a hard enough time just snapping in the clips for the map lights... and you want them to rewire the light circuit and install a 4 position switcho_O:rofl:

Good idea. I'm always up for new ideas. I'll think about this one.

Window tint (30/5 front/rear), mud guard delete, hood lift system, and debadged.
You could print a new housing for the lights and it would allow you to create a new slot for the rocker switch there and maybe make it a 4 position slider like @RobP62 suggested? I a 5 position slider (from left to right): Red (Constant), Red (Doors), Off, White (Doors), White (Constant).

Bluetooth controller and Meso app. Anything less is really just cutting corners.

Easy install. Spring on dome connector was a little tricky for my butter fingers.

Will post more pics at night. Maybe bust out my light meter. I hope the color temp matches. ME-SO mail packaging makes a perfect protective wrap to tape up and store OEM bulbs and parts. Perfect combo if you used scotch tape to pull the maps out.

These dome panel LEDs get hot :bananadead:

What assembly? Are you referring to the overhead console? You dont need to bring it down.

Which assembly? The dome diffuser/lens popped right off the fixture, by working carefully to pry on each corner with a small tipped plastic tool like the one in my post. I forget which side I popped off first. Then I used the same tool to pop the lamp out. Popped ME-SO Ultimate Dome in. Snapped in and fit like a glove. Same technique with maps. They are smaller and a little trickier to pry out. And must be set firmly on all 3 clips.
I only removed the map diffuser/lens from the other fixture. Then used scotch tape to wrap around the tiny lamp and pulled them out like a loose tooth :blahblah:
Check posts #802 #805 #810 #813 for more info that really helped me out. And remember positive (red) faces driver side on dome, and the front end on the maps. Turn off light before install. Remove fuse if you are really "safety first". I did not. YMMV. Many manage to use a tiny screwdriver or credit card or guitar pick if you do not have a nylon tool.:typing:

That pic is probably just the angle of the dangle :beavisd:
I will check tonight. But i assume ME-SO uses LED panels that are the same color temperature.
    I believe its around
    6,000 Kelvin

The Dome you will want to use a flat tool to pop it out, I used a flat head screw driver, but be careful it can scratch up the molding. The lens just pops out if you get the tabs.

The spring was a little slippery, but after I popped off the lens, I just installed the adapter in place. Did not pull dome assembly down.
