Features you didn’t know you have

I still find the one or two new things about this truck after a year of owning it.

Today I realized the sun visors extend to cover the side windows.

What else am I missing?

 

Not a 3rd gen but 2nd, I didn't realize my CD changer was 6 disc. For some reason I always thought is was 5.

 

Was that a factory option?

 

Standard I believe.

Your 2017 plays CDs. You probably didn't realize that because you don't listen to them anymore.

 

Is it a multichanger?

 

Sure enough it’s in there about the sun visors. Really the only thing in the list I wasn’t aware of, so maybe that’s it. No more surprises.......oh well.

 

It took me a while to find out that the TRAC Off button did different things in 2Hi, 4Hi, and 4Lo. The manual didn't explain it well, so I thought it only changed things in 2Hi.

 

Yep! You press the eject button, and change the CD.

 

I dunno......managed to jam at least four in there myself. Will try for five and report back.

 

People still listen to CDs?

 

Yup! When I did the test drive the salesman looks at the head unit and says “Wow they still put in CD players”. Times are a changing!

 

The best one is the auxiliary electric heater!

Took me awhile to notice the windshield defrost button, I was setting divided airflow prior to that which took much longer to clear it.

 

Interesting, I will have to look that up on wikipedia. Had a neighbor back in AOLs heyday that was the marketing wizard for the many many many millions of CDs that AOL mailed out.
