The point being they aren’t exactly hard to find as OP is suggesting...

So correct me if i am wrong. This plastic piece you are selling, came off your 17 pro grill, and you are hoping to sell it for 100 bucks to someone that needs it for their 18 pro grill? Isn't the plexiglass garnish from toyota like 50 bucks? And doesn't it serve the same purpose? I know the 17's dont come with TSS so they don't have the sensors. But it sounds like to me, that the garnish still covers the open part of the grill.

I paid $95 for my plexiglass garnish. No one with a 2018 will need the piece I am selling. Someone that bought a 2018 Pro grill for their 2016 or 2017 will need this piece.
    2018 Pro Grill was $180
    2017 Pro Grill is $400
    Someone that bought a 2018 grill for their 2017 - $180 + $100 = $280, a lot better price than $400

Chinese ones are easy to find. OEM Toyota 2018 TRD Pro grill is what I think they are talking about and that is hard to find.
They were $180 + Plexiglass Garnish WAS $50. Now the plexiglass garnish is $90-$100 (I paid $95 for mine). Toyota is now requiring vin and picture of broken grill to get it. Sucks but the good price was great while it lasted, now back to paying top $$ like before if you want OEM Toyota. Or go Chinese route...

Where did you find the garnish for $95? You really need to go back and ask for a refund because you got gouged. List is $68. This online retailer has them for $49 https://toyotaparts.bristoltoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-garnish-radiator-gr-5314135060

I bought it off of ebay, it was the last one listed amd it came from a Toyota dealer...
All the dealers I called that have them listed for cheaper do not have them in stock and said they are back ordered. So I had to pay the price...

Maybe has to do with the 18's needing that extra piece on the front for the Safety Sense tech?

Yikes. They gouged you for sure. I would call the dealer and ask for a partial refund. They should at least give you list price.

The center removes where the "TOYOTA" is, but not the piece under that

For the 2018's it not about 'looks', it's about: can it accommodate the TSS sensor and garnish? The center bottom piece needs to be removed, the sensor installed, and the garnish installed from the front.

There's this, but you're gonna pay.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/371947467855

I ordered 5, count them....5 grills from various online Toyota vendors. All the '18 pro. One by one they refunded my money. I was hopeful at least one would skirt the Toyota embargo, but nope. Planned to sell here at cost if I got more than one. One did offer to sell me the garnish, which I still needed for the '17 that I purchased from the above link. I received that today. So, I'll pull the plug on my OEM '17 Pro grill, and slap in the garnish I received.

If you can't wait, there are options but it'll cost you.
