Depends who you ask. Those who are only in it for the money....you'd think the world has fallen. For the OG who was around for Eth under $50 bucks...things are still great! For those who believe in crypto...its just a meh time.

I am getting sick of all the people who bought mining stuff at the peak. Everyday its OMG im only making $1 a day now! Or the people who went heavy into it and are freaking out now.

IMO, in 2017, most people were in crypto as a get-rich-quick scheme, and not in it for the real intention that crypto was created for. Those people are now gone, which is good. There is however, a lot of bank manipulation going on, and we will probably not see the crazy gains like last year.

    HODL ON!

Loving that everything can still be found for mining. Was curious about the motherboards and B250s are actually going for $176 now! Will be at 7 cards running by this weekend

Itll be an interesting time for mining once Eth goes POS instead of POW. Theres around 200Th/s of mining power that has to go somewhere. Bitmain is already releasing a cryptonight AISC and have hinted at plans for a Ethash one as well. Be interesting to see which projects swap to being AISC resistant to allow GPU miners to keep a fair share and for things to stay decentralized. Monero has already stated they are going fork into being AISC resistant.

Definitely interesting. Glad to see Monero is AISC resistant, I considered switching to mining that coin

It isnt right now i dont believe. But the XMR team announced they would become AISC resistant right after bitmain announced their AISC. Right now its not the most profitable to mine but i do like the project and they are the OG of privacy coins

Right now just a rig of R9 290's and a rig of RX 560's. I had a rig that was a mishmash of 470's,480's, and 570's but I sold that rig towards the peak. Ill build another one once prices hit where I want. Basically took the profits and put it towards my FJ40 project and kept the amount to rebuild it at the price I want to pay I wanted to playa round and do a cheap, budget build of RX 550's on cryptonight but with bitmains announcement I may hold off on that one.

Has anyone looked in to SALT? They supposedly are a blockchain backed loan company. You put up your BTC/ETC/LTC and other crypto as collateral to get a loan.
I am not going to do this, but I'm curious as to how many people in the crytpo industry will start taking loans against their own investments.

Listened to the CEO on a podcast. Seems it could work like taking loans on your 401k.

Hopefully without the same penalties as going against your 401.

My 401k can have loans without much penalty. It's the withdrawal that screws you.
