    Thinking 265/75/16

This will be a set that I’m taking off road and traveling with. I’m keeping my stock Kevlars on other wheels, for my daily commute ,until they are toast.

What are you running? What do you suggest? Pics and real experience help too.

At stock, 32” will certainly rub on the mudflap and front valence. Stock size, you should be fine

I rub hard with 265/70/17 so i had to add a lift to clear. Testfit with no lift and hard rub7C5ABE25-3D15-4CE5-91C0-87AE43BF5CB7.jpg

I thought a 1” taller tire would fit

Shit. Are ST Maxx somehow larger than other 265/75/16?

The 265/75/16 is equal to 265/70/17 but i think the stock pro is 1” higher than stock sport so you may be ok. Id doublecheck that though

I hear conflicting reports. Manufacturer advertises a 1” lift in front compared to OR, which I believe essentially levels out the rake.

But I’ve read on the forum that side by side comparisons have measured out identical. Kinda debunking that selling point. I’m still gathering info, as Fox/Toyota are vague on specs. My 265/70/16 seem like they have more room to fill wheel well, but after I add armor & winch I don’t want to regret going taller.

Don’t plan on a legit aftermarket lift until the 2-3 year mark.

From other users, the 265/75/16 will fit (tight)stock sport/or but you would have to remove mudflap. The extra inch is going to be an advantage, but the bumper and winch are negatives. Maybe stick with 31” till the lift is in sight

265/75/16 duratracs. Took mud flaps off before install because I've been down this road and just knew I didn't care. Zero rub

I plan on removing my factory mudguards. Apply a little heat gun action if needed. Will need to do more research on Duratracs vs KO2s, but I know those two seem to be the most popular options. From what I have read so far the ST Maxx seems bulletproof, but heavy AF. And the Wildpeaks are the least expensive, but also the least durable.

I wonder how long I can get away with that tint in L.A. or most of Cali.
Would fit my black paint and murdered out look.

Thnx. You cant get pulled over for tint as its not a moving violation. Get a speeding ticket, though, they may tack it on top $155 in calgary canada lol

I wouldn't say they're the least durable. Duratracs have their issues too. Falken recently put a lot of R and D into their compounds when they redid their MT-01

OP- 265/75/16's fit stock on stock wheels, but with Ray 10's, with a backspacing of only 4" is what makes them rub at stock height even with only 31's. They stick out of the wheel wells about 1.25" more than stock wheels, and when they turn they result in rub that you wouldn't have with a stock wheel backspacing.

Interior LEDs, all weather mats, TRD performance CAI, trifold hard tonneau cover, predator pro step, accessory interior/exterior illumination package. Kicker tweeters, Kicker speakers.
That's exactly right, PRO has additional inch, so that size is good.

I'm hoping that will be the case. :fingerscrossed:
Pretty much set on 265/75 for the 16'' RAY 10s I just got.
Just need to pull trigger on a tire choice. :spending:
Hopefully Discount Tire on EBay has them still.
