Awesome. Thanks. Unless someone posts a free camp grill somewhere before then and I snag it. Saving money for a downpayment on a house is harder than I thought. @gwolff got the Cargo Trailer Camper idea embedded in my head and now I want to buy a trailer lol I need to stare at my sig some more.

 

I love the idea of a tiregate, but couldn't justify it. I use my tailgate when i haul stuff and the tiregate eliminates that. If you dont use your tailgate, go for it. The 2nd gen was less expensive last i looked, the 3rd gen was like $1400 or something.....

 

Just build a swing out. Is your rear bumper tube or plate, I can't remember.

 

That's definitely harder, but not impossible.

Snap a pic of the rear of the truck if you don't mind. I'll try to sketch something up. One from the side too so I can see how far out it sticks.

Yeah, Idk if it could handle the weight of a full size spare and the gate.

Might be able to get away with one that swings down out of the way of the tailgate, but I don't think thats a very good solution.

We could build a side mount that allows it to be bolted above the bed sides. Still not great.

I guess swing gate is the only other option.

 

Or roof rack lol

Just strap it to the hood like a range rover.
