Oh I have a story for y'all! Mostly because Molly is tired of me talking about it.

So I picked her up at the CVS in the Porter SQ Mall this evening, and as we were navigating out of there, an idiot in a white Camry pulled over next to the cab queue and put on their hazards. They were blocking the entire way out.

They weren't looking up, they were starting down at their phone, so I honked. Immediately a guy walking from the right, about to cross in front of my truck yells "Hey!" And puts his finger to his ear, I guess trying to signal it's too loud. (stock horns)

So, being tired and grumpy from my commute, I flipped him off. While waving at the white Camry to move the fuck out of the way. They were right next to a lane in the parking lot, all they had to do was turn left. I had left space. But apparently this was too much for them to handle.

Meanwhile the guy walks up to my window and I lock the doors. I honk at the Camry again and the guy goes "Oh do you want me to record you?!"

Now I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but I said "I don't fucking care". Just then the Camry finally gets their shit together and pulls into the parking lane.

So I give the guy a typical New England "Fuck you buddy" and drive off.

I am still thoroughly confused and amazed at the whole encounter. What was that Camry driver thinking? We're they? Probably not.

What was the guy trying to accomplish? Did he not see what was going on? Why would recording me be a threat? Who pissed in his Cheerios?

Anyways, I don't know if I was an asshole, but probably. Idiots piss me off. /Rant

 

I'd start recording and yell "world star!"

 

Especially if I got out of the truck haha

The majority of people in the Northeast are assholes, and entitled too. I can see the difference when I go to see my bro in law in WV, the minute I get out of the tri state area. Seriously. I have an example. A few years ago, driving on the GW bridge and trying to merge, I honed at a dude that was just coming across and about to hit me. He was driving one of those town cars. He got made, flicked be off and pulled out a bat and started waiving it out of his window. I blew a kiss at him and flicked him off. He kept pushing towards me and pretending he was going to hit me. Fucking idiot.

Sounds about right! But there are assholes and idiots everywhere haha. It just seems to be a little more socially acceptable up here.

 

There is a saying I learned growing up.

My wife told me the most heart breaking thing tonight. Involved one of her kindergarten kids. She was ballin her eyes out. People are fucking irresponsible as fuck and the kids end up paying for it. WOW

 

Been talking with my wife about how kids are treated a lot lately. Makes me so mad.

My wife teaches inner city kids, they are all kinds of messed up. Parents are useless and don't care for the most part. I couldn't teach them because I'd get arrested.

 

I know I’m not mentally mature enough to have kiddos yet but I can’t wait for that time in my life, hopefully my relationship situation is in the right place around 30. But yeah I see dads teaching their sons or daughters how to ski or surf or out anywhere sharing one of their passions with them and holy crap I melt. I’m trying to get all the selfish trips/actions out of the way before that ball starts rolling cause theres no way i could make an alien and not give it the world.

My wife is a social worker.. some of the stories she has are unreal. There are some real a holes out there in the world.
