I'm assembling the pieces for the kit. I got in the tube nuts today for the master cylinder along with another mc for fitment confirmation.

So there are two main parts that the end user will have to acquire themselves, since it doesn't make sense for me to stock them. The first being the master cylinder and the second being the Tundra/Sequouia booster. The master cylinder is cheap, like $35 if you're impatient and don't want for the $18 one to ship. The Tundra booster on the other hand costs a bit more. Do not go out and buy a new one as they're in the $400 range. Get on ebay and buy one there. They're usually $60.

    Master Cylinder - Cardone 10-1584

Booster - You want the dual diaphragm booster from the 07+ Tundra or Sequoia with the 5.7L motor. There are plenty on ebay for a decent price.

Booster adapter - I will supply the parts needed to adapt the booster to the stock pedal. The Tundra booster has a shorter ram inside the truck than the stock booster.

Master Cylinder adapter - You've seen pictures of what's included with this kit.

I did not try the one ton master on the stock booster as I already had the Tundra unit in place, but I have my doubts that it would work. The dual diaphragm booster is designed to add more leverage to the brake pedal than the single diaphragm, and feeling the pedal now I wouldn't want less assistance from the booster.

The majority of us that are messing with these axle swaps are redoing our brake lines and ditching the ABS module. With that being said I will be supplying tube nuts that screw directly into the gm master cylinder and accept 3/16" brake lines. The existing kits on the market for the older trucks offer an adapter to a 10mmx1.0 tube nut. Well, that really doesn't help us because we have 12mmx1.0 tube nuts and 1/4" brake lines. Those 1/4" brake lines lead over to the ABS and then neck down to the 3/16" line. So the tube nuts I provide will let you go straight to a 3/16" line without the need for an adapter.

Was that clear as mud? If you guys have questions let me know.

With a wedding this weekend and a wheeling trip next weekend I'm thinking about two weeks. :D Get your booster and mc on order while you wait.

I've revised my mc adapter cut file so the center hole will accomodate the o-ring on the mc and will have a test piece cut on Monday. After that I need to accumulate the parts for the booster brake pedal parts.

The countersink bit that I used for my prototype chattered like crazy, but cut well enough for testing. I found a zero flute bit and gave it a shot. It’s works great!

I will have the blanks water jetted early next week so we’re getting closer to a final product being available.
