$25 at a locksmith here in town. The guy did it in 15 mins matching it to my ignition key.

 

I like mine too but I’m trying to tone mine down it’s a little raspy and I’ve heard the magnaflow is a lot quiter

 

Install a cheap resonator

 

Got my truck back from the AC guys the ground on the compressor was messed up, and they added more freon.

 

PO said the pump on mine was making all sorts of noise so he cut the belt off, I've never taken the time to put a belt on and look into it. I do know my condenser is junk and needs replaced. Hour long trips home in rush hour in the summer are hell.

Super easy imo. I used a pipe wrench to get the old ones off as I couldn't find a wrench big enough.

I thought I was the only one to use a pipe wrench. Was afraid to comment in case I would be labeled a hack.

Pipe wrench: universal metric wrench.

 

Helping a friend move tomorrow, so I ditched the fiberglass cap. It was awkward, but doable for one dude. I'll probably keep it off until fall, as I forgot how sexy my truck is without it.

I honestly can't figure out what would be a better tool.

Maybe once the truck came off the assembly line, but anything over 5 years old is getting the pipe wrench.

 

Well drivers side cv didn’t fix my issue, on to the passenger side next week maybe....

Note to all:

LBJ’s are torqued and blue lock tighted, so if my wheel falls off it just be a sign...

 

I missed what your issue was. Please repeat. This is a very long thread. Please forgive me not going back and researching.

 

picked up a 14" round body for mine too. all 3" from turbo back. dont have it welded in yet

 

When I put my truck in 4WD drive I get a tap tap tap every once in while when not on the gas, I changed the drivers side cause it looked messed up but I’m still getting it, so I’ll do the passenger side next and see if that’ll fix it.

If not I’ll run it till it blows up...

 

Save time and Jack up the front, crank the wheel, go outside and turn the tire by hand. If you got a bad joint you will feel it.

 

You sure its not a ujoint? Seems like my issue was but yours is in the front
