Dang!! I need to sell mine. I have lost all hope the silencer act will ever pass. I had hoped ammo would be cheaper for it by now to.

 

I doubt I'll be camping, unless the temps reach the 60's or more.
There's more than one way into Sleepy Creek. From Inwood,WV exit on I-81. That's the way I last went to the camping/lake access. I've also entered from route 522 west of Winchester. But that was with a buddy a few years ago in about 2 ft of snow and don't remember how to get there again that way.
Again, I've never been on the trails there yet.

Are we going in from 522? Or from Inwood,WV?

 

@113tac I'm very familiar with the areas surrounding the park. Let me know which way you are going in and I can help out with an idea for the best place to meet if you want

That show is such bs the 2 trucks they let through were broke. The taco bailed when that jeep tried to wreck him. Damn if I would wreck my truck for 10k $ anyway.

 

There is a wawa off 66 near centreville right? Maybe meet there?

I’ve never been there so any tips you guys have for a good spot to meet up would be great!

I have a theory with that show. It’s sponsored by Jeep pretty heavily - never saw a Toyota commercial. First week a 4Runner gets past the 1st round yet won’t start afterwards and is disqualified. Hosts tell him to figure out how to get his broken truck back home.

Second round a nice new Tacoma is doing well until cut off by that Jeep. Out. Hosts yells out to him “we'll see you at the club!”

Most Discovery Channel shows are one long running commercial for a product with overt and sometimes subtle placement sandwiched by the actual sponsors. Until we see a Toyota commercial in that mix, we aren’t going to see a Toyota do well.

Hmm looks like there is a Wawa right off of 66 in Manassas at 9471 Liberia Ave

We've done meets before at the intersection of 29 and 28 in the big Post Office parking lot in Centreville because 66 is right there as well.

I’ve never been to sleepy creek so hopefully someone can help us figure out a good spot to meet at sleepy creek
