Not as fancy as the stuff you guys have but I replaced my Mudman recently with this Rangeman. Really like the features it has. I tried the Mudmaster and Gulfmaster as well and liked them both but felt the price difference to have almost the exact same features wasn't worth it to me. I also felt the band on the Gulfmaster was a little disappointing. Both are really nice watches though. I was bummed about sending the Mudmaster back.

I would like to get a nice analog eventually though. Might fit in a little better around here. :D

Yeah mechanical isn’t anywhere near as precise as digital. But you wear a living breathing piece of art. Almost like driving a charming 78 land cruiser and not a Tesla model 3, not that anything is wrong with that.

That is what I was looking for. I was having a hard time finding an analog, solar/atomic G-Shock in my price range though. This was the best bang for the buck IMO. Like I said though a nice analog is on my wish list. I like the look of the Citizen field watch. Seiko has some neat looking ones too.

Ain’t nothing wrong with a G Shock! I love them. I have three now, but there are several more that I plan to get eventually. You can really have a lot of fun with all the crazy colors and styles they come out with.

I’m a fan of G Shock watches. I wanted a gray one but couldn’t find one. Or they were super expensive. Black works best with most of my wardrobe anyway. Had no issues with my mudman for years so I expect the same with this one. Functional, durable watches. What more do you need? :)

A couple guys I work with have gray ones, and they look great. I agree, though, Black is more versatile.

Just be careful with some Jap’s mechanical. They might last you a while but they miss 10s a day sometime. Try some Swiss ETA 7750. In the right hand it only misses 2s a day that’s hard to beat for any analog. There’s plenty of spare parts when time to service to keep it ticking. Anything sounds European but came from India, don’t even bother.

I used to love wearing watches all the time and had quite a few of them 10-15 years ago but now I never wear them unless I am on a trip, or road-trip or whatever. All I have now is an old-school G-Shock...

BTW I just noticed this thing is off....The date is Thursday 3/15 but when I change the date to 3/15 it jumps to FR on the left, not TH.

I haven't seen this before, any ideas how to get it in sync??

Edit, I think I fixed it. I'll find out tomorrow I guess

Got this a little over a month ago, it's an Automatic Tissot dive watch. My first mechanical watch and its cool to look at and watch the motion in action. Its also super comfortable to wear and looks great in casual and fancy environments!

I think you have to adjust the year so the calendar matches up.

Yep, that was exactly it. The thing that reads "TH" or "FR" is actually a number if you adjust it, so you just need to adjust to the proper 2 digit year. Fixed.

Shows you how long it's been since I've worn this, last time I think was my trip to Europe last Spring

Mine is scratched up and packed away somewhere but I did find the exact same watch on ebay. I think I bought mine back in 1994.

The Japanese movement in this watch is really cool. You can even make the second hand run backwards when in countdown mode.

That is pretty awesome! I like the bracelet design, too. I'm sure it is comfortable the way it tapers down at the bottom.

They're great watches. Love my G-shock 8900 tough solar.

I like how that last one's crown and buttons are not grinding into the back of the hand. One reason why I don't like 40mm plus watches
