Hey man nice taco! Do you have a link for the build thread to your old taco? I can't seem to find it and I read on another thread that you were running the RCD bilsteins for your BDS lift.

Yeah, I did away with it...wanted to start fresh since I've switched trucks for the 4th time. But, yes I ran the RCD Bilsteins w/ Toytec 1.6" coils and top plate spacers to correct lean at one point. Achieved about 7" of lift in the front w/ the BDS DB.

6112's installed as of Friday along with the progressive AAL. Installed on 5th notch and as expected I got closer to 2.5"-3" of lift. Alignment #'s still turned out good imo with stock UCA's. Also fit full size spare (285) in factory location without much effort

@NCtaco914 Looking good! That 285 looks huge in there haha.
Any modification you need to make with the Wheelers AAL to brackets? Overload?

Thanks! Yeah the 285's fit really nice and actually don't have as much trimming to do than I originally thought. On the progressive AAL I did have to cut the oem rear spring keeper to fit the new leafs. I chose to remove the overload leaf and cut off the e brake bracket to the overload leaf. Also used 1/2" spacers to move the e brake line away from the leafs at the frame

Have you ever had issue with spacers? I do some pretty technical trails with my trucks.

I've never had any issues with wheel spacers. Always have ran Spidertrax or Bora. Properly torqued and checked every tire rotation and you'll have no problems

Well a good heavy rubber mallet was kind enough. Just to bend the metal tabs back a little to completely tuck the 285 up against the frame snug. Other than that, just winching up the chain is where it counts. May relocate my exhaust eventually. So far no issues at all and keeps a full size spare out of the bed

Truck also impressed me last weekend making my final move. ECT mode of course was essential. Pretty good load for the 3.5

Completely worth it. Best uca's I've ever had so far. Fit and finish is great, maintenance is minimal, and they actually benefit you (alignment is correct, extra wheel travel). Best handling Tacoma I've had so far and I really feel like it's all because of the jba's

Those 285's look so mean. Been wanting to run 285's on stock OR rims so I don't have to buy new ones. How much trimming did you have to do? I'm on aftermarket UCA's and similar lift height.
