The bumper on the 5-Lug is beyond repair, so I went ahead and bought a fiberglass rollpan for it that would be flush with the bed. Looks a lot better on 5-Lugs since they ride so close to the ground than the stock bumper IMO.

If I turn it into a trailer. The plan is still to restore the truck.

That's if the Bonded Title doesn't cost me too much.

The only thing I have done is take it back! I had given it to my son but he just bought a Jeep. I'm happy to have it back!

I switched to the '01-'04 under radio trim with the switch blanks instead of the pocket.

I never realized how good of a mounting location this is for a ScanGuage. The wire feeds from the back through a switch blank and it gives you a very clean look.

So if I've I programmed this right TFT should be reading out the transmission temperature.

I guess my transmission is currently -39.9 Degrees Fahrenheit.

    IMG_6727.jpg

I have a feeling scangauge only correctly reports transmission temperatures on newer cars. Something about switching from the ISO to CANSF protocol or something in 2003.

ok fuck this, running new wiring to the elocker. But 1st, gotta reseal the pumpkin. Which means if I have to pull the axles I might as well do the seals and bearings and never have to look at it again.

What`s the biggest tire size you guys are running on 2.5" lifts? With and without spacers? 15 or 16" wheels? I`m running the ome 883 coil springs with billy 5100`s and the Dakar 2.5" leafs in the rear.

Yes. You won't be able to mount your front wheels without them. Got a lot of frame rub with 1.25". Had to use 1.5". Still rub a tiny bit on one side.

With or without trimming/cutting is the question you need to ask here. Lift doesn't matter. Wheel spacers makes it worse.

    31s - no trimming
32s - very minor trimming to the wheel liner and pinch weld
33s - cut/hammer all of the pinch weld, and you'll start running into other issues here and there like the windshield washer reservoir.
34s - you'll get to know your favorite BFH well as you smash the firewall back as far as possible
    35s - tubbing

I took a look at my belts this morning since one squeals like a banshee sometimes and realized I'm missing the alternator tensioner bolt.
