    Double Cab, V6.

Currently I noticed I only have.... 1 to 1.5 inches of travel before the front hits the stopper things. Also just too weak feeling, even before the 4600s. Figured I should replace them since I am getting ready to replace the poo-poo leaf springs too.

I was going to get the OME 2885's... but I keep reading about them topping out people's struts.
I don't want to be breaking my 4600s...

So, ideas? I do plan on getting a steel plate bumper... but not for a while (2 years most likely).

4600's are crap. Get 5100's big improvement over stock. Then get 885's or 886 when you get the bumper.

    Are you joking? o_O
I've already spent 80 ish per shock. So 80x4 and then 250 to have the front ones installed. Did the rear myself but it was awful.

What would I do with them? I can't just trash 4 shocks with less than 5,000 miles on them... :/

I don't really want super lift, which is why I was directed to the 4600s o.o
    Or so I was told

    What is wrong with them?

Like you said earlier you can't put 885's on them . 4 5100's $341 shipped. $21 more for 5100's . Save up for that bumper and some coils .

Are the 4600s not just non-adjustable 5100s? That's what I've read and been told. I wasn't going for extra lift. Right now I'm just trying to get front back to a safer height at the very least.

Hm, I guess I could just get some OEM coils. At least ride these 4600s for a while so it's not a complete loss.

Then later get the heavy coils with the plate bumper. Hmm
