So we have countless threads on this and Fox shocks. Unfortunately those thread run way to many pages with people arguing back amd forth and them the real information disappears.
What I am trying to figure out is if the 2018 TRD Pro is in fact 1" taller than the TRD OR & TRD Sport. Toyota's website says it is. When I called Toytec, they said it wasn't.
The reason I am trying to figure this out is I have the 2018 TRD Pro Fox suspension here ready to go on my 2018 TRD Sport. I thought that the TRD Pro suspension would raise the front 1" and level the truck. I also ordered 1/2" spacers for the front. Does anyone know for sure if the Pro is taller than the Sport? Also is the Pro level or will I need to put the 1/2" spacers on the frint with the Pro suspension to level the truck?
Please keep this thread to the questions at hand and not whether or not non pros should be lifted because of the TSS and not whether spacers are good bad or whether the break shocks or not. Also please do not argue back and forth on this thread, we have plenty of the on the other threads. Information in only good (therefore allowing people to find it and keep the from asking the same questions over and over) if it is not baried in 50 pages of people arguing back and forth and bringing up things not asked. Thank everyone for their courtesy.

    Yeah.
    Yup. No additional spacers needed.

Thank you guys for the input! I thought so. For whatever reason the Toytec salesman told me that on 2016+ the Sport, OR and Pro were all the same height in front, but I thought that was incorrect. I bought the 1/2" kit from ToyTec so that was a waste now. The guy I spoke with in the phone was nice, but apparently he didn't have a clue of what is true ir not. He also td me that the 1/2" spacers kit wouldn't work on the Fox shocks. I told him that was impossible because if it didn't work on the fox shocks it wouldn't work on the stock shocks. I was about to get iff the phone with him and one of his techs came back from lunch. So he asked him and the tech said it does work with the fox shocks. I really am kind of disappointed that toytech would have someone answering the phone giving advice out that doesn't have a clue on the real deal. You guys saved me from installing the half inch spacers and making it ride high in the front.
Does the Pro suspension still suffer from the drivers side being 1/4" lower than the passenger side? If so, would you recommend the 1/4" spacer on the left side?

I gotta ask. What is a TRD Fro in your vehicle description? And you said you have a Sport? Just a little confused.

So a TRD Fro is when you want a Pro in a color they don't make and a moonroof. So you order the Sport and pay the dealer insane extra money to order and put on all the TRD Pro parts. Then you have a dealer Fake Pro (Fro).
Even after I ordered and paid for the truck and parts insalled, the dealer got that tech bulletin about not leveling the 2018s and not putting the Pro grill in a non-pro and wouldn't do the grill or suspension. So they refunded me the money for those parts and labor. Worked out in my favor because I bought the grill and suspension from a different dealer and saved $1000.
But TRD Fro = Dealer Fake TRD Pro

Bro is probably better because it costs less and is the same thing. You only get Fro is you grossly overpay for everything. Freedom Toyota in PA had a 2018 Black Auto TRD Pro on the lot $45,600. If I didn't insist on needing a moonroof and wanting grey, I could have just drove off the lot that night with it and saved a bunch of $$$
I am glad that you guys were able to clarify that the Pro sits level- very helpful! I just need to figure out if I should put the 1/4" on the drivers side.

I think it should be age determined. If you are over 40 you shouldn’t be a bro, or drive a bro truck. You then would have a “fro”, because you see yourself as being more mature, LOL

Does the TRD Sport come with factory leather? And the PRO has all the OR gizmos like rear locker, CC, and MTS, right? I'm probably over-thinking this....

For 2018 they do. So does the OR.

PRO and OR are identical besides the suspension and cosmetic upgrades. They both have the same “gizmos”. The sport doesn’t,

Btw, I do not believe the new Pro is 1” taller than OR or Sport. I believe only the old Pro is taller than the lesser trims. Not 100 on it though.
