I keep thinking that $250 is a lot of money for a bigger dehydrator. But when I see just the cost of jerkey alone I see that $250 for a bigger dehydrator is well worth the price, yet I still haven't pulled the trigger on it.

Maybe when I get my stash for play money rebuilt it'll be easier. My last stash went to a new laptop. With snowbirds headed home soon, my return clients will rebuild some of it and any new clients will top it off.

Might want to get a bear box for it. Had a new Bushnell my Son got me for Christmas a few years back destroyed. Bear tore it off the tree, chewed and tossed it around like a beach ball. Had camera set to video and it recorded it all. Example https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/moultrie-game-camera-security-box

Good morning, TGIF. Not sure it will make a difference way things are going at work. Worked late last night and started a couple of hours ago. Getting too old to put in these hours. Problem is the old guy seems to know how to fix most things in less time than the new kids, ugh.

Same thing here yesterday almost pulled the trigger and the Excalibur has been sitting in my Amazon cart for more than a week now. And every time I see a package of jerky at the store think when I get home am going to hit buy now. But haven't yet.

    I have an 80 liter Cabela's model.
    Works well.
Made some Schinken out of pork loins this week.
Had it in the smoker first and finished it off in the dehydrator for 6 hours. They're hanging in the cool porch right now.

    Morning all

Sorry about the rants and language. I drove and parked and stewed on my own juices for a while. BIL called and said they will pay for any damage, he wasn't the one that did it, the worker did. Nice guy, big as a ox, all muscle. Turns out I went full on scoutmaster on him and he was afraid to look at me...lol. he ended up apologizing and promised to pay.

There were other issues that all came up at the same time and I now realize that this was the tipping point.

Still, don't let other people drive your truck. The rule is there for a reason.
    Happy Friday

I was trying to figure out what you meant, then I got who the OF was..lol

We will see, the construction is the what I want them to work on right now, I will post pics tonight, excavation day.

    Did I mention it's raining?

That's funny you say that. My cousins husband had a camera set up in High Cliff State Park behind his house, he got pictures of an old guy walking by, naked.

    Morning all,

@CVYota man I am not real sure I would be as calm as you even if it was one of my kids . My hat is off to ya! I am really curious what the thought process was no racks , doesn't look like any padding up front ....pretty sure most could figure out that soft top was never meant to hold any weight ....

I told them how to load lumber in the truck, resting on the reinforced tailgate, use the 6 tiedowns i installed, it's why I made it that way, the contractor told him to fold the softopper down and put a blanket on top of the cab, but that would be a bad idea, 800 pounds will dent the cab, I have seen others try it.
The worker went with plan C
