It's actually not that interesting. We are in a bowling league winter and summer. She often wears sandals so I keep an extra pair of socks for her in here in case she forgets to bring hers. See....crazy boring :ohsnap:

Yes I did. Trimmed the bottom where the console latches are and a small strip along the entire middle of the cocoon grid. I would say I took off 1 cm to 1.5 cm for the latches and maybe .25 cm along the bottom. I used a pair of tin snips to make the cuts; it's strong plastic from what I found. I then used a lighter to clean up the frayed ends. Took me maybe 10 minutes.

It's secured with 4 pieces of double sided sticky velcro. Each pair of velcro was rated for 10lbs each so I think I'm set :fingerscrossed:

I would inquire with your local dealership and/or Toyota corporate. It is not like you knew about the recall and had the work done at an independent shop after you know about the service bulletin. You might be able to get reimbursed. If not you are only out the time it took to call.

Put your spares back in, go to dealer and get the new ones, and then you have says of spares :woot:
You live in FL. I'd use self tapping screws. Once it heats up a bunch the sticky on the Velcro tabs will most likely fail.

Thanks for the tip. That's something I'll watch out for. It's just starting the hot season. If it has any issues this summer, I will be using screws.

Respectfully - There is better ammo you can use other than the Hornady Critical Defense round for that pistol. I encourage you to go to the link below and look under the "lab" tab where you will find that these guys have conducted ballistic gel testing on over 150 loads, sorted by caliber.....The Federal HST's in 45ACP will mushroom out to the size of a quarter and is an affordable round when you buy the 50 round boxes (I buy all of mine from Bone Frog Gun Club - best price on the internet)...Not trying to be a smart ass know it all - just sharing a little about what I know a little about.....Good Luck....Mark

Thanks! I really appreciate it. Honestly, I have only probably shot HP's through that pistol maybe 50 times in it's life, just to see how they are at the range. Everything else has been FMJ's. I bought that box of Critical Duty Ammo years ago, never had to use HPs :fingerscrossed: I never have to.

I'll look into those HST's, what's a good PPR you have found?

    Carry on.

Bone Frog Gun Club has the 230Gr 45ACP HST's for $22.50 per box of 50 (not 20 or 25) which comes out to be $0.45 a round......and I have no affiliation with Bone Frog in any way - I just shop around for the best ammo prices and these guys blow everyone away because of the volume they sell....I usually buy my HST's from Bone Frog by the case when they offer free shipping when you order it by the case.....Good Luck

Damn that's a great deal. Never seen HP that cheap, esp for 45 ACP. Thanks for the tip, I'll have to stock up a bit.

I have a few friends that have X20s that have been all through Canada, etc. Not sure often they got used, but I know they have worked in pinch a time or two.

Fit looks pretty good. I was looking at one version of the CK's and they looked a bit loose.

I like Sigs, but my USP and my P30SK take good care of me.

MP5 is in the works. Kinda wanna build a K / PDW model to fit in the center console.
