Unless like you like paying 900k for a rambler.

This is why I'd never live in the city again. I miss pre-Amazon boom Seattle; before Mercer was remodeled and the U-district was just a college town.

It's pretty tempting to sell the house and have nice, fully paid off house in middle America or the South and have a lot of cash flow for toys. My kids are very young so it wouldn't matter yet, but then we'd have to live elsewhere...

Amazon ruined Seattle. Went over to watch my nephew's baseball game in Mill Creek last summer. 5 miles away, left 45 minutes early, missed the game sitting in traffic even that far north.

Funny how these cities offering Amazon tax breaks to get them to build HQ2 there. Careful what you wish for.

I lived in both Carolinas and Georgia. Totally understand. It's nice being 30 minutes out from the mountain pass to go snowboading, 20 minutes from the city and 20 minutes to the beach. But that comes at premium for real estate :annoyed:

Exactly. I just want to get out of the Puget-opolis. Not that I would do it, but my goal is to find a place where I could walk outside nekkid and my neighbors wouldn't see me.

A friend stopped going to an activity that took them from Meadowdale to just the other side of I5 on 164th. It was taking them an hour sometimes to go that short distance.

Not just Amazon, though they are a big part of it. But tech and pharma, in general, plus the absolute craptastic mass transit that does nothing more than add to the congestion and being taxed to death.

Where's my beer. I need to chill.

Small world, I grew up in Lynnwood. Shouldn't take that long to get from meadowdale to 164th if they're just crossing 99. Although 164th gets crowded going east towards mill creek though in rush hour.

We're debating on buying my parent's house in a PRIME spot in lynnwood, and remodeling it to either live in it or flip it (they want to retire out in a small condo), but I don't want to deal with that traffic...especially since I work in Renton. I like the north end much better than the south, but so does everyone else...

This is why we have such good beer here. Plus its Friday, go for your beer.

Yes! Kind of forgot about the whole “glovebox mount” on those. We didn’t want people stealing those gems of modern technology!
And of course, I had my Jensen6x9 coaxial speakers!

    Yeah, sorry about the OT.

Yep. Rush hours and hours. I think they were trying to get there around 4.30p. No buenos! Hell, we live between the I5 / I405 merge. There are only a couple ways to get to our house and it is gridlock after about 3.30p to almost 7p. It makes doing anything after work a major pain.

I grew up in PA and moved here in 1996. This place is heaven compared, in all aspects other than traffic.

Definitely flip it. Just zillow any house around here an look at the growth. It is almost disgusting and killing it for young folks.

anyone notice in 2h, when you press the trac off button once, vsc is on and trac obviously is off but that enables the auto lsd. that remains so up to 30mph. at which point trac turns back on (if i remember right). drop back down below 30mph and trac control turns back off.

that does not apply in 4h though.

Knew about that one, but heres one:

Whats that small clip for with the little arrow on the right side of the driver side visor?
I figure its form clipping cards or insurances? Maybe also there as handle to help slide the visor?
