My current TRD PRO 16" wheels have a 4.5" backpsace, but are 7" wide w/ +13mm offset.
So you're saying even a stock 265/70/16 tire will definitely rub w/ the Ray 10's 4" BS, 8" width, and -13mm offset ??!!
    And I would need smaller than a 31" tire w/ the Ray 10's without a lift ??!
    Ruh-Roh...

I just ordered a set of KO2 285/75s for my 16 rays....nervous haha! Used the discount code from the discount tire direct store on eBay and saved $200. Just over $700 shipped

Pretty sure I had 265 70 17 grabbers on my gen 2 with sr8 and hardly any rub at lock. And gen 2s are already an inch lower

Oh I don't know you had TRD Pro wheels to begin with. I think the stock tires should be fine easily, but I rubbed with the 265/75/16's. I am a 2nd gen though so stock for me was an inch lower than you. I guess plus the PRO has another 1" over other 3rd gens, means you have 2" over me, so I'd actually think you're fine with the 265/75's.

pro wheels won't rub at all on 265/75R16 KO2. This is with no mudflaps. I've never had them to see otherwise.

Ray10s will rub slightly when stopping at a turn especially offroad.

I did a diy where it rubbed https://youtu.be/p1zDYOGCwnk

I think you’re right about Ray 10s offset causing rubbing w/ 265/75/16. And according to Robs video, I should be able to fix that with a heat gun and Dremel for some minor trimming.

No problem. Thanks for checking my channel.

I haven't had any rub after the work.
