Is the V1 that much lighter than the Flippac that you swapped out leaf packs?

Never had a Flippac. Long story short, All-pro sent me the wrong leafs. Installed them, then realized they were wrong. They were only installed for around 500 miles.

Cheers, man, but I think I can manage. I have a work laptop that has enough available space, I think, and I ordered a SATA adapter as @Porter707 advised. I couldn't find my computer tool kit, so I bought a new one of those, too. By Sunday I should be able to get it out and see if I am just slightly fucked or really fucked. Probably hitting Costco this weekend for a new machine.

Yeah that SATA Adapter will work with the 3.5" Platter HDDs and with the 2.5" SSDs as it has an external power adapter. The soley USB SATA Adapters will only work with SSDs as that's enough to power the SSDs.

Yeah, their site is pretty meager, but sounds like they have some specialty stuff. One of my go-to places for great selection and weird stuff is Ace Emigh Hardware on Marconi/Watt. The more funky random place I go is Blue Collar Supply on Florin-Perkins. Those guys have metal stock they will cut to order, like aluminum perforated aluminum panels and such, and lots of larger grade 8 fasteners.

Yeah, that's what I was looking at is the power needed to spin disks, versus SSD. If I can pull over critical files to the laptop, then I can pull from the laptop to my portable 2TB SSD, which is USB only. If I'm not careful, I might learn something during this process. :homer:

Anybody want to buy a K2 Eldo 155 (or 158, can't remember) with Burton bindings? Awesome all-mountain/cruiser/carver.

Wow, just heard HWYs 50, 80, & 88 are all closed. Gonna be a skiers paradise this week end. If it lets up.

Edit: just saw this was previously mentioned. Eh, slow day at work.

I took a class or two at Northstar, but this was in the mid '90s. Not sure how they rank now, nor any pricing.
