    Howdy y'all,

I jus found out that I'm on weekend ops duty this weekend. So I'll be working 11am-4pm both days, and there go all of my weekend plans haha. And on St. Patty's day of all days...

Oh well, I don't get OT since I'm salaried, but I do get a day off as a comp day. I'll probably take Tues, since Molly flys back in late Monday Night.

So I'll probably be on here a lot over the weekend. Thanks for all the invite though y'all! Much appreciated.

Damn, you guys are chatty today!

I don't mind watching hockey or baseball from time to time, but I can't watch sports religiously like some people. And I'm not a fan of football. Watching muscular guys in spandex trying to jump on each other isn't fun to watch.

Made this mistake once. Turns out she was still married and psycho (by her own admission), and things were awkward when I backed out. Luckily she left the company not long after.

My ex was hit on all the time while on the job. Despite claiming she was married to me, some didn't give up. She said a couple guys were just blunt about what they wanted, like it was no big deal.

Seen this as the thread thumbnail, and somehow knew you were the one who posted it.

iirc, the market is down so the house doesn't get sold, she gets possession of the house because - well she's the womans, she is supposed to refi to buy out your equity but can't, because the market is down... & when you got fed up enough to walk out for the last time, you grabbed the car at the bottom of the driveway - which fate ensures is the little POS high mileage commuter car, the truck thus being hers by possession being 9/10ths. ....or something like that.

But marriage is probably a good thing for other people? :anonymous:

Well since some folks actually have to work while at work (yes I'm jelly) I missed another good one.

Yes, I am very aware, I coach middle school ball, well I have for the last 5 years, but new Athletic Director and supposedly every one had to reapply and interview for their coaching positions. Freaking school politics.

One of the few things that the wife and I agreed to before marriage, if you really feel you need to stray, inform the other and we will end it. Guess most couples wouldn't discuss something like this, but my dad is on his 5th marriage, and I know some started as affairs.

Just as bad is when they roll in animal scat. Whenever I take Chara hiking that's a favorite activity of his. I'm like, dog, when was the last time you had to mask your scent so you can stalk your own prey?

I am hoping that I don't end up in that mess. But, then again, might be fun to throw shit out the windows all over the lawn.
Think he had 2 that might have made it to 10 years, I know number 3 did. I think after 1, there is no more need for another. After 2, I would think you would be sick of walking down the isle, and paying the lawyers. 3, come on man, 3 strikes your out. 4, you are really freaking dumb. 5, face palm.

Cheating is no bueno. It's just an idea I can't get my brain around. I can understand lust, temporary infatuation, even the idea of "What if?" when thinking back. Hell, the parents' house of the first girl I ever went head over heels for is four houses down from mine, and driving past I occasionally get the nostalgic twinge, which I think is normal, but then I remind myself how terrible that would have ended up and laugh at how silly the thought is.

Back when I was completely clueless with dating and whatnot (I've only marginally improved, and I say that as a married guy) I would feel guilty if I liked a girl and then found myself liking another girl. Yeah, that's pretty lame, huh? I can't even keep a secret from the wife if I tried. I remember actually thinking to myself when I was going to buy the engagement ring, what if I have a car accident and I'm somewhere that I hadn't said I'd be. I actually snuck out of work early to swing by the house to try and figure out a ring size for her. It had snowed so I left tire tracks in the driveway and I got a "did you come home early" text and I felt SUPER weird having to make up a reason why. Having total trust is absolutely amazing though. I couldn't imagine not having it. My brain works too fast, I'd melt down if I didn't.

On a side note, is it spring yet? Having a super rough couple of weeks at work, coupled with crappy weather leads me to basically hate everyone that isn't the wife or baby.

    EDIT:

I've been out of the loop regarding sliders. How is Toyota handing frame swaps with sliders? I'd assume bolt-ons would be viewed as steps, but I'd be afraid weld-ons would be viewed as a source of the rust and you'd be SOL. I like the look of the 10 degree sliders with kickouts, but I honestly wouldn't use them in probably 99% of my normal use for the truck.

With the lift I will probably need to do something, and I've been eyeing either the 2G or 3G running board style steps which I think give the truck a nice finished look. I've been keeping my eyes open for a set, though I'm hardly in a rush as it's further down my list of things to do at the moment.
