Two more things, i know why they call 3/14 pie day, but why are people referring to it as steak and BJ day? Where and how can i collect on this?

And most importantly, i apologize for missing it yesterday, but happy belated birthday @Bentrodder

hopefully the belated birthday wishes just keep the party going

The only “big” resort I would recommend would be Kirkwood. The rest suck and overpriced. Homewood and Diamond Peak I’ve heard very good things about for kids.

The very short list is encouraging.

I have to make up my mind if I want to delve into the hole of building my own flatbed camper and endure many months of torture or go the route of buy a canopy/cantalever/wedge thinger and be done with it.

I guess I have lots of time.

I used to frequent Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose.
They used to be mostly locals, but things may have changed by now.

If you’re a fan of Pismo (who isn’t?), go to the Cal4wheel site and read on. Basically, SLO County air pollution peeps are proposing to close down access over the next several years in a deal with the State.

its real bad. Friends of Oceano Dunes are doing a good job but can only do so much. Its such bullshit. Saying the vehicles are causing the sand to travel to the playa and into town.

You know, not the coastal wind. I dont think they realize that town thrives off the OHV traveler money and itll die like the rest when that money well dries up.

Oh no it’s still has same social stigma. Which is one reason why they are way better for kids. Not crowded with douche tourists.

For sure. I'll be skiing there every weekend until they close. Have to get my money's worth out of my pass.

I've put both my kids in lessons there and they enjoyed it.

    I agree @jberry813, I'd also recommend Kirkwood.

Yeah it looks like they're going to get a good dump the rest of today and tonight, but then there is more coming in tomorrow afternoon. Might prove to be a wild and woolly day for the young'un.
