I would consider my truck stock, but it's not really. I have maybe 1" lift (questionable) and 265/75r16s and I only bopped my hitch dropping into a mud hole slightly too quick. I could definitely see the potential to drag a diff or rocker if you have a trail limo or take a line wrong though! If I recall, @BravesTaco95 hit his hitch in the same spot and he's lifted.

Yeah I definitely hit hitch. Had to get a ton of mud out of my trailer plug when I washed it a few days later.

But you didn't tear the harness off? Still attached to the truck in the stock location? I should have done the harness relocate mod early on. Tore mine off completely at URE.

No these were large ruts from some guys goosing it and probably getting stuck since there were logs rolled into the ruts. We were all lifted myself 3" and the 2 3rd gens about the same all of us running 33s and we only had about an inch or so before the factory skid. I drug my hitch a couple of times because I didn't take it out and the damn cotter pin was stuck in the hitch pin.

Yes since we went and all that loose gravel at the beginning is either pushed to the side or compacted way down. The part with the downed tree is less of a hill now as well. The dense fog in the valleys and riding through it was cool.

Yeah it is still in the same place. I need to cut a hole by my plate and mount it there.

We had almost made the gate on the big run when we turned around. It felt like we should have gotten there already, but with such a big group and the long delay at the river, time got away from me.

And this time I checked. Definitely closed.

That is not where I had to reverse along the side of the mountain when I did Musterground Road, which leads me to believe there is an off-shoot from Musterground Road that leads here.

Someone needs to make friends with the NC or SC rangers so we can get this gate open!

Another 15 mins or so solo. I did the run earlier this week. Probably why I am sick right now, going up in elevation with my allergies already messed up.

I guess someone should just call DNR and ask them when that gate opens up.

I've asked the NC and SC rangers and they both just say it doesn't.

I saw no obvious way to open that damn gate.
