Same here. I made the group for work here and we did $10 per person. Not a big pot, but I'm always up for a little gambling :woot:

With 1.5 hours left, i'll have to avoid coffee. Otherwise, i'll be wired for the next day and a half.

Yeah, I still have 4 hours to go, so I should be good.

Just got done with a week of fighting some nasty respiratory bug, possibly the flu, and this 12-hour shift is the longest I've even been awake for the past 5 days!

I think I’ve grown quite the tolerance. I could go home and drink coffee then pass out 15 minutes later.

Sweet, I think I just invented a new game. I think I'll call it, "Dell Resource CD Ultimate Frisbee Golf". :D

This is where you take the "Dell Resource CD" that comes with your Dell PC, and try to whip it into the large trash can across the build area from your desk.
I'm not very good at it yet... :anonymous:

    A little, yeah! :D

This IS kind of funny, though. Most of the guys I work with are pretty sharp with Linux (I get by OK when it comes to Linux), but a few of them kind of panic with Windows builds. Being sharp with Windows and PC hardware, I get the lion's share of our Windows builds for the fab. It keeps me busy enough when I get them, but MAN is it ever monkey work sometimes.

I got some good news in my regards. You all heard me bitching about having my copy of Google Chrome being wiped off my PC, last week.

IT group installed Chrome for me. Yay!

I did find out that upper management is pushing to make IE go away and use Chrome instead. I don't think many people would find that change upsetting.

Well, to BREAK it I'd have to:
    1. Take the CD out of the paper wrapping first
    2. The walls are mostly padded (yes, seriously) so I'd have to hit that electrical panel on the wall pretty damn hard to get it to break
Yeah - extra points for breakage then.

Trash can's about 8' from the electrical panel, so I'd have to move the trash can - which might be considered cheating.

It would move the trash can further away though, but not far enough to really be considered a par 2 shot.

Bounced to the day shift for the next 3 shifts:)

On the plus side, the day shift regulars do a killer breakfast on the weekends.

I expect to consume 2000 calories by 8 am.

    Diabetes, here I come.
