Due to the inherent design of all vehicle cooling systems, increasing cooling efficiency will do nothing for lowering the coolant temps until the system exceeds its capabilities. A thermostat is not like an open and shut valve so it's not like it's either fully open or fully closed. It progressively opens with an increase in temp. Once it is fully open you are relying on the rest of the cooling system (radiator) to regulate coolant temperature. By having a much more efficient radiator, and one that is all aluminum with out plastic end caps or orings to fail the cooling system has much greater capacity to keep the temperature where Toyota (and the thermostat) intended.
If I lived in a cold climate I would only get this as a replacement WHEN the stock one fails. It will fail in time.
For those that live in the warm climates and off road especially in deep sand where speeds are slow, torque converter is never locked, and really high constant load on the engine, this will be the cats meow!

I'll let you know. I ordered an FJ/T4R shroud and recovery tank. Mostly to try and do an e-fan conversion, but before I do any hacking, I want to see how far off the shroud ends up from the clutch fan.

Quite possibly! I would think all you have to do is bend/move the tranny cooler lines a bit more to compensate for the bottom of the FJ shroud (there is plenty of room). I'm not sure though as I haven't tried it. I think the coolant reservoir is in a different spot on the FJ as well.
Try it out and post your results! That's what this forum is for, to find new things and improve on others findings!
    Great idea!

Anyone that actually orders one please post it so I can track it. I am not making any money on this but I am hoping with enough sales that @Gadget URD will hook me up with a one time discount for sending business his way.

    My shit is all stock.
I’ll be all over one of these when my OE radiator fails. Hopefully CSF will have developed a Tacoma specific radiator by then.

I have one of these in my other vehicle. It definitely helped out during extreme use at the track. Build quality is pretty decent. Not Ron Davis level, but, plenty adequate; And likely a third of the cost.
