Cooper STT Pro

Anybody rocking the Cooper STT Pro?
Thinking of buying the C rated 32s.

 

Not now but they are probably one of the best mud terrain

 

Says they are R15 though
Don't know what wheels would work with those. Both sets of mine are 16"

 

If I remember right 15s do not fit our trucks .Brakes are too big

 

That’s true. Going to continue my search for C or D load tire for a 16” wheel. Not many choices it seems.

 

Didnt realize they had a C load. Look what Brown just dropped off...

Duratrac?

265 75 16. Pretty sure it's offered in c load and e. My 265 70 17 was c load.

And my current 285 70 17 is d load
Not a mud terrain though.

 

I’ve heard a lot that duratrac’s don’t wear the best but I have no personal experience with them

 

These are duratracs. Just in case the op was wondering

 

I'm on my second set and love them.
First set is still good actually I just up sized.

They wear even if your have proper psi and alignment like any tire but they are a softer compound much closer to a mud terrain so they don't last as long as day a Cooper st Maxx would last

 

My buddy got 55k out of his last set of STT Pros without a lot of attention to pressure...or rotation lol. That was the selling factor for me. I knew they performed well off road which was the entire reason I bought the Tacoma, but that kind of tread life is hard to beat

 

The st Maxx is the all terrain version and they're great to.

My only issue with STT pro or any mud tire is how easily they hydroplane

 

Is that from personal experience? I’ve driven in the rain a lot here lately, a couple downpours and not had any issues but I also don’t try to corner like a nascar in the rain either

 

Not specifically with the stt pro but other mud.
Then again the ko2 was the scariest tire I ever experienced in the rain

I considered these but ended up going with Duratracs. The weight difference between the two was significant.

 

That’s why I’m researching C and D load. They are out there. Just fewer options in sizing. Just found out there is
General Grabber M/T in C load. 50 lbs.
The E load is 63 lbs.
