Your working environment and mine are two completely different worlds. We need to do a good job for a decent raise, but the big difference is we’re not judged by production, but need to keep things right and tight for the Tax payers. Like I’ve mentioned before I love my job and enjoy serving the public and having a career in the parks and leisure department.

 

Makes all the sense in the world to me Rob, then again we do seem to have a tendency to think alike more times than not

I look at it like reloading shells. When someone is just starting out the general advice is to get a single stage loader and learn it then move up to a progressive press. My thought is why waste your money on a single stage that is going to sit in a corner once you get tired of it and have moved on to something bigger and better. You can run a progressive as a single stage if you feel the need. Buy once, cry once.

I have to pick up my son in Winona tonight at 8 from the Amtrak station. Always worried about the drive between here and there because of deer but this time of year crops aren't near the roads and clear line of vision, for the most part. But will be watching anyone else out on the road because I know damn well there are more than a few that are going to be plastered. It is one of the most dangerous stretches of road in the State even without drunks on it.

Boy I wish I could feel proud of the work I do again.

With the exotics I feel that way.
I have on occasion couldn’t sleep and went to the box and just walked around.
Sat in the cars. Thought of the stuff I did on that car.

Real world is not for craftsmanship anymore..
And I feel sad..
