Lol. I have done the same thing. Post all ya want. Nobody is perfect. I was just curious was all. Those tires do look great though. Just that little more aggressive tread makes all the difference. Take care!

We really do need a gun section! So you already know what it's like to pull the trigger on an AR. Now, imagine knowing that you built it from scratch! Every time mine goes bang, it puts a smile on my face! Find yourself a good shop that can supply every piece for your build. Use quality parts! Don't skimp!

Those look great. I like the white lettering out. I've run my rubber both ways on various trucks over the years. I like them both ways.

What size tires did you go with ?

    They look great.

Truck is looking mighty good. I have those sills & decals waiting on me to install next day off. Did you do anything special to prep the surface before adhering the sills ?

Sure will be a functional enhancement as I tent to drag a boot across there every so often.

Good dogs enhance family life so much that it's crazy. I couldn't imagine not having them in our lives. Feel sorry for those who are missing out.

She looks mighty cute and full of energy. We've been blessed that none of ours have been chewers. We have a basket of toys for them in the den and master bedroom....thankfully they regulate their chewing to those.

Hate seeing your new seats get trashed. Those covers looked super.

    Sweet looking Husky !!!

Your truck is looking great !!!!!

YES !!!!! Gonna look great and be mighty functional.

    Nice !!!!!

Looking forward to seeing the install. Take plenty of pics and post's up if you get the chance. Great looking armor, right there.

I believe there is a gun section.

AR15's are fun as heck to shoot. For some reason I waited years to ever buy one as most of my gun funds went towards hunting rifles, scopes and shotguns. I've always had an interest in pistols and have most of what I need but do want one or two more 1911's.

Was in my local gun shop a few years ago and saw a few Colt AR's that were putting out on the shelf. Basic patrol type rifle with the Magpul furniture. That a new Gen4 G19 went home with me. I've done nothing to it but keep it wet and run rounds through it. Great functioning gun. That G19 was the first of the G19's that fit my paw. I added some Trijicon HD sights to it and have been very impressed with it. It groups really well at the range and stays loaded with Federal 9BPLE +P+ loads which it runs like a hungry Rottweiler. :infantry: I'm refusing to go see the the new Glocks....G17 sized frame with G19 sized slide, new trigger and other enhancements. I refuse to go look at them. They'd fit the Milt Sparks Criterion that I normally carry my Gen4G19 in. I don't have the funds for this....nor the need. Scared that once I fondle one it'll be all over, though. Funny thing is that I'm not a typical Glock guy, yet the G19 has grown on me bigtime. It gets used for kayaking, woods carry, high humidity treks in the local trails, etc. Wipe it down at the end of the day with good oil and let the holster dry out. Winning carry combination that I forget are on my hip. Spare G17 round on board for a quick reload, too.

That being said a really good buddy who has his FFL bought several Del-Ton AR15's that were also set up in the basic patrol style. He was rolling them out for under half what I paid for the Colt. Went ahead and added it. Figured I could use it as a base gun to mod out as desired. Funny thing is that it's run flawlessly and has a much better feeling trigger than my Colt. Each of us that bought one from him has really enjoyed them.

If he'd not been around then I was giving Palmetto State Armory a strong look. They package together some really nice looking guns with solid internals. You simply have to act immediately when you get the email alerts from them. I've been wanting to get an "AR10" they sometimes run. A semi-auto .308Win would be a heap of fun to scope and take deer hunting.

One final thing I'll add to my longwinded gun post.....recently ordered some custom knobs from Hondo. They come either plain faced, or engraved with the Hondo octopus......or the bolt carrier group face engraved on them. SOLD !!!!

Their phone mount has been rock solid. Added some of their cellphone cable clips yesterday, too. Cool products coming outa their shop that really enhance the ergonomics of my Tacoma. Best phone mount solution I've had to date.

Give them a look.....and get ready..... :spending: It'll happen before you know it. Their stuff seems hefty enough to last as long a my Taco will.

Thanks! They are LT265/75 R16 Load "C". This the first set of tires I've run White letter out in quite a while, I like it too. The only drawback being, they look like crap when dirty.... I've got my scrub brush and Ajax at the ready ;-)

Most of the components are BCM upper/lower, hand guard and stock, 10.5" ballistic advantage gov profile barrel, 9" BCM MLOK hand guard, Griffin M2 sights, Holosun red dots ( put two on their guns a year and a half ago when they needed something quick and they run them hard and they still work), Magpul MS4 slings, A2 flash hider, milspec trigger.

I have two gun shops and a range in town, but it took 2 years of working on their stuff to get to this point of building them guns. This is the first batch and I'm very excited about the whole deal. Working on making my own lowers for the future builds.

Dive in and build you one, it's a lot of fun, you don't need many tools for it a vise, armors wrench Magpul has a really good one I haven't broke yet, I use a Magpul bev block, roll pin punches and started punches, a torque wrench for the barrel nut, and a brass hammer that has nylon on the other side. That's really it.

Put on a @Pelfreybilt IFS skid. Slighlty disappointed in the fitment and during the frustration, I'm pretty sure I crossthreaed one of the 12mm bolts. Guess I'll see when I pull it off after my Moab trip.

Good thing we don't have to take it off often for oil changes.
