Hey Rob all is well, things will be fixed. We have a few months of construction ahead of us and my Moms house to clear out and sell. So no time for smaller stuff.

    How is the visit?

Thanks Rob. It went well was supposed to meet with 3 different groups but they kept him there all afternoon and he met with a few more than planned. As soon as he walked out another company in Boston called him for an interview. He has at least 4 in the works right now 2 are in Boston.

Edit: I have a Weston semi professional vacuum sealer and really like it, so will be looking at that gun.

The Portland company didn't even require him to come out there in person. He did a third and final interview with them a couple of days ago and they are supposed to let him know middle of next week. Chicago is closer but if it was me, Portland over Boston and Chicago any day of the week. But of course it is his choice. Hope he makes the right one.

Thoughts with you today, your mother will appreciate you being there I am sure. As will everyone else. Despite what you have to do hope it is a good Saturday for you, or at least as well as can be.

That picture speaks a thousand words! Damn I think I can smell it from here LOL. Beautifully done and bet it taste as good or even better than it looks. To hell with Canadian bacon think that should be my next job with a pork loin. I'm hungry now...

    Good morning folks.

Sipping coffee, getting with the crowd later to decide on an excuse to get drunk.....

Actually (as some know) I don't drink and I don't do crowds.

Going to get some :washing: done and other weekend chores and watching kids. Was suppose to be 3 but 1 ended up in the emergency room lastnight with an ear infection so now it's 2 girls (6&10). Their mom and them are the one's we gave a hand up starting in Sept. In January they got well enough to get back into their own place, get a car and get back into the swing of life. So now, on weekends or maybe evenings, they'll come here and hang out when their mom has to work.

A number of the local Girl Scout troops here put together care packages to send to deployed military, donations are quite common.

Oh....dehydrators. I'm looking at either the Ivation 9 tray or the Excalibur 9 tray. The Ivation is about half the price. I haven't done a side by side comparison yet other they are 9 tray.
