2nd Gen Grilles

Finally got some installed today. More and better pics to come in the next few weeks.

 

Do you offer one without the white back plate? I want more air
Also, do you offer color matching?

If you get down and look across the nose of the truck from the side, there's a slight radius top to bottom. Since you're having problems perfecting the corner bends, how about roll the entire thing and put a radius on it.

 

Wow, these look fantastic! The OEM grille on my 2008 is looking very worn, and I was thinking about looking for something new that was a bit more fun looking. I like this...

 

One day the second part of second gens will be able to get this too and the world will rejoice.

 

The backplate is a brushed stainless steel plate that can be removed with four locking nuts. It actually ships without it mounted on, so you can just leave it off.

The 05-11's fit great. It's the 12-15 that's kicking my ass.

I actually have time this weekend to beat the hell out of the one that doesn't fit quite right. I hope that I can get it fitting and then to the fabricator to take all the measurements. Keep you posted.

 

I wish these had more air flow through them, I already have issues with the stock grill as is, but they look badass.

Looks good dude.
Now that I'm thinking it through a little more- How thick is the material? I ask because if I keep the back plate off, will the center of the "O" and top of "A" bend or become deformed? If the backing plate could be cut-out with the letters to match, that would be hella stout.

yeah, it's about 1/16 of an inch thick. it's very difficult to bend by hand.
