Jeez, get with it! It's not like you've been moving and prepping a house for sale along with other stuff...

Wonder where they got their body lines from?? Looks so familiar.
I'm curious to see how these will do.

Doesn't look any worse then the 3rd gen Tacoma.

3rd gen taco looks better than this.
That's their offroad model if I remember correctly. Wish they didnt have it roped off. When the baby raptor comes out that'll be a different story.

    That's a good comparison.
Looks wise I'm unimpressed by the lines. As boring as the colorado/canyon.

To each their own but personally I don't think there is a single new truck that looks any good... Including the Tacoma. The new Ford F Series may be the worst looking truck Ford has ever made (and I've always liked Ford trucks). Technologically the new trucks may have some advances but I hate the way they look. Honda make some quality vehicles but the front end of the new Ridgeline is absolutely awful. I do like some of the new colors though.

Honda....Ridgeline is what you're thinking of

Why can't they make it look like an actual small truck? Toyota and even Chevy know how to do that.

It looks a lot like every truck designed for the European market.

I know. Even like the new hilux trucks. My comment was a stab at ridgeline.

Look at Ford.com.au - guessing the url - to see the difference between their ranger and the one for us. Ranger has been constant in the Australian market.

Google search shows that gen ranger unveiled March of 15 while the Tacoma was unveiled June of 15.

They want to minimize the perceived overlap with th F150, so they can’t make it too truckey. It will be interesting to see how they market the Ranger. My assumption is that the advertising will focus on the very young, somewhat urban crowd.

Ha, yeah, the new Ridgeline was outstandingly disappointing. Honda had an opportunity to really make a great small truck and failed miserably.

The Nissan looks just like all the others in the EU...

Toyota makes, and has for a long time, one of the best small/mini trucks, Hilux/Tacoma. (I would argue that the new Tacoma is not a mini truck anymore). On the other end of the scale, I'm still waiting for Toyota to build a truck to compete with 250/2500+ size trucks. I'm glad to see diesels are actually becoming options in the US for all size trucks.

Yeah the tacoma is mid size, hasn't been a mini truck in a good while. These new age el caminos are just horrible imo though.

It reminds me of the new SUVs that are nothing more then glorified station wagons. They're a far cry from what an SUV was meant to be.
