Trying to replace rotors but no idea how to remove the Method hub. Any thoughts?
The bolts 6 bolts on the hub cap don't seem to actually do anything. I've given them a good smack with a mallet as well.

What is the 1,2,3,4,5,6 white box?

And I can't see why the rotor won't just slip over the hub...? Seem to be the same diameter

Not sure what you mean about the box. But, the rotor can't slip over the hub because the base of the hub is slightly flanged out over the rotor.

never mind. White box is gone. I guess my computer had a weird glitch and overlaid something on the screen.

The hub being flanged to prevent the rotor slipping over wouldn't make any sense. That implies you would have to remove the hub every time you wanted to remove your rotor.
Not familiar with these hubs, but all I can see is either the 6 bolts on the hub do something, but you aren't aware; the hub twists off somehow; or you're wrong about the rotor not being able to slip over.

My 1994 Nissan D21 had hubs that were bolted on via 6 hex bolts. This system looks the same. Pull the bolts out, hub comes off.

Read in another post that the bolts are plastic and can break off, and are just cosmetic. When I turn them, they don't seem to tighten or loosen, so didn't dink with them too much.

    Pic of hub flange.

I can understand that. I bought a 1997 Dodge Ram in October. It came with some stupid wheels, and the hub caps had 8 hex bolts for styling. 6 of them were dummy screws, but 2 of them actually secured the cap to the wheel.
I would check your hub bolts again.

That's not a hub. Its just a hub cap. Looks like in your case its just wedged to the actual hub. Use a screwdriver or a heavy duty pick and pop it off. Theres nothing holding it on. Just stuck.

If you wanted just remove the rotor , it may force the hub cab off or slide over the hub cap if it slides over then you can easily see the edge of the cap and pop it off.

Right, not actual hub. Sorry for the bad verbiage. I'll head back out and give both a shot. Thanks.

Could try spraying some PB blaster in there. It may be rested together.

Had to beat on it a bit while spinning the rotor. Slowly worked off. Thanks all.
