90% of the roads on my mail route (what I was running when I got stuck) are dirt, I typically have to run in 4x4 after a rain.

    Nice! Thanks for the info.

My brother and I are looking in to building a truck for an event (this will probably be a 4 year project) The event rules say if forced induction is used, it must have been factory equipped on A model from the make and year of the truck.

Since the SC was a Toyota (TRD) part, and available as an option, (dealer installed) but it was originally covered under factory warranty... there may be a loop hole. I'll have to contact the event promoter and find out.

How's that aluminum radiator treating you? Thinking about buying one for putting my truck back together with.

Finaly got started on my lift. Had to do a bunch of cutting but only if the bolts didnt snap off. 158k miles and looked original. But got all the old shit out of the front except two bolts that didn't break on the sway bar mount underneath and ucas are in and also the new bushing that recieves the ball joint from the ucas pressed in. Doesn't look like much but I'm pumped.

It is running flawlessly... and a lot cooler. Wish I had a Scanguage so I could give an actual number (that is on my list)... but the temp guage stays below halfway even at long stops and in the drive thru... that guage has always started to creep towards hot in the drive thru in my truck.

Lol... the drive through analogy is just the way I've been explaining it to everyone else. I haven't been on any trails since I installed the radiator to give a real world report.

So my drive thru results are all I have for now... lol

Just double checking. Do you have the one way valve installed in the line to the IACV and made sure it only flows away from the throttle body? I’m assuming you do I just know this is a simple problem often overlooked.
