What size fuse did you use when you tapped into those fuses with the add-a-circuit? I tapped into my high beam one and my A/C fuse and just matched those fuses for now but I want to know if I need to increase them or if they are good. I believe they are both 10A fuses. I also tested out my trigger wires and the high beam worked but my reverse one did not. Therefore, if anyone knows of a fuse I can tap into, please let me know. Currently I am tapped into the backup fuse 1. I know I can tap directly into the factory wire but I was trying to just do the add a circuit if possible. Also, when you are enabling the triggers, do you want them on active high or active low. What’s the difference? This is what my fuse panel looks like and where my taps are located. I'm going to test a few hi-beam fuses and will let you know. In regards to the fuse amperage, 10a should be sufficient.

Also, you can also try tapping in into the headunit pin #2 for the reverse light trigger. See this thread for more info - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...nal-for-the-backup-camera-on-3rd-gens.531935/

Ok. I’ll try that out. I know the high beam I tapped into does work. The only one that didn’t work was the reverse trigger

Oh good to know. I’ll do that for my high beam trigger then. Thanks

You are Welcome! So I have my ignition on my A/C fuse. It turns on when I turn the truck on and turns off when I turn the truck off. The high beam fuse works perfectly. Just trying to find that reverse location before I just make the final decision to t-tap the reverse wire located in this pic.

I’ve been told that for 3rd gen automatic that I would tap the yellow arrow but on my truck it is a red wire instead of a purple. If I do need to do this, can anyone confirm this is the correct wire so I don’t tap into it and it be the wrong wire. Pin 18?

I wonder if Backup No 2 would work. When I tested the fuse for both, fuse 1 wasn’t hot but fuse 2 was hot. I’m thinking it wouldn’t work tho because that would just make it so that my reverse lights would be on all the time with the constant hot signal, which I don’t obviously want. I’m thinking that I will just have to T-Tap that reverse Red Wire

Do you have a pin schematic for the above pic?

NEVERMIND. I said screw it, went out and tapped my Pin 7 Red Wire and it worked. So for everyone that wants to tap into their Reverse Lights, High Beams, and A/C Fuse, here you go:

I am considering a switchpro 9100 myself and curious if anyone has installed one with an IBS dual battery setup.

I am planning on having all my accessories pull power off my secondary battery but the 3 trigger wires (when triggered) will receive power from my primary.

The IBS automatically connects the battery when it receives a charge from the alternator and disconnects the batteries when truck is turned off. Could the headlights staying on after the truck is turned off mess with the switchpro? Could 12 volt source from 2 different batteries that are disconnected from each due to the ibs cause an issue with the switchpro? The batteries have ground between them.

    Am i over thinking this?

I don’t believe one exists for SP or the SP plate. I asked and they said none were available.
