    There was someone that got these metric weld in inserts that they did for their skid plates. I thought that was a pretty neat solution as well. But you can't beat the simplicity of a nut and bolt if it breaks or rusts easy to replace.

    After like 3 years I think it's about time to do some retrofits... Tried the TRS tip 270* for 7 mins but it wasn't quite enough so they went back in at 285* for 7 mins.

    Painted the reflector bowls semi-gloss black and attempted to paint the shroud with dupli-color Shadow Black chrome... That didn't turn out well so I stripped it which didn't hurt the chrome..

    Got the hole saws for my hood latches.. The large one uses a 1/2" Arbor and the smaller one uses a 3/8 Arbor.. Instead of waiting on Amazon again I just went to Lowes and got a Lenox and swapped the Arbor in. I may even swap it back and return it..

    The damn 3M "easy release" painters tape stuck more than the paint... I had some automotivetouchup.com rattle can on hand so not a huge deal. That and I have a buddy that does paint work!
