Absolutely love going up there. We rent a nice house for a week at a time and eat at a few of the local spots while fishing sun up to sun down every day. A friend of mine has continued to look for property in the area and it's not easy to come by in the area we like.

Hello all! I've been scrolling through the forms for a couple weeks now but somehow never knew about this thread !? I read the last couple pages and it seems like y'all are well connected. I wanted to introduce myself on here and maybe meet up with some if we have similar hobbies ? My name is Brandon, I'm 23 y/o been working full time for the last 4 years and going to school up in Fitchburg. I don't know of many offroad trails near me and my truck is bone stock so it's not like I'm crazy into that but I do enjoy mountain biking if anyone would ever want to head into Vietnam with me (in Milford MA) Have a great ST Paddy's day Y'all

Welcome! There a few MTBers in here so I'm sure we'll try and get out for a ride once the snow is gone. Also welcome to the money pit; this site will make you go from keeping the truck bone stock to making it fully armored. You've been warned

    Evening y'all!

Finished up my 5 hour shift not too long ago. Only one alert and it resolved itself in like half an hour, so that's fine. Got some work done too!

Drove Molly to the airport last night. Word to the wise, if you don't have upgraded suspension remember to take your GPS off the "Avoid all toll roads" mode. I drove the weirdest route through Everett and the East Boston Distressway, but I made it. Some roads felt like cobblestone, and some felt like I was offroading! But hey, I didn't pay any tolls! Woo!

And Molly and I's view on cheating is a little different haha. It's not cheating if we are both involved, and it's usually more fun that way!

I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.
I went Skiing with the fam at Mt snow yesterday. The 60”+ of snow they have gotten in the last couple weeks have produced some of the best skiing I’ve done in years!.. also it gets waist deep real quick when you venture off the trail.

That is a good problem to have!

I wander through mine and I'm like "oh yeah...those!". I completely forgot I had the Pro suspension kit this morning. I found my old ScanGauge in my desk the other day. It's like leaving money in your jacket pockets in the spring to find in fall. By the time fall comes around, you reach in and find $5 and suddenly your whole outlook changes.

I've basically kept mine as a code reader since I don't need it for transmission temperature anymore. I've been meaning to get a spare cable so I can mount it in the truck somewhere removable if I need to use it. The Vette can display codes in the center readout, so unless I want to monitor intake temperatures or something I don't really need it outside of the Jeep throwing codes.

The question i guess is what would I monitor in the truck? Voltage, IAT, water temp and? I've already got an MPG readout built in. I guess I could learn about timing.

Yeah I'm really only interested in the MPG, voltage, and trans temp. Anything else would just be a plus haha

That makes sense with your stereo setup. Transmission temperature was interesting to watch on the old truck. The second the converter unlocked the temperature would jump right up. That's the reason I wouldn't drive around without overdrive on and would go nuts with the truck shifting in and out of lockup at about 40 MPH.

Stereo, lights, aux battery, with more lights and maybe even a solar panel to come haha. I need all the info I can get!

MPG would be nice, especially the instant. I seem to drive the same way each day, but my MPGs can vary quite a bit. Last tank was 14mpg, but I've gotten as high as 16mpg this winter.

Well today is the last day I'll be in town for two weeks - the sad part is today was the last day I had the liberty of working at the Tuning shop I have been contracting for for the last 6 years. They have been closed for the last 3 months but we were finishing projects and cleaning up the shop for the transfer to the new owner. By the end of this week they'll be all out and shut down. Sucks seeing a close family of people get separated like this - the owner literally treated the shop like a toy and when he got bored he called it quits on us - despite being one of the better and profitable tuning shops in the northeast.

On the upside... I just bought out most of their evo and subaru inventory so looks like I'm still slinging parts... and I am still a vendor for Diode Dynamics as I will likely be transitioning to another shop to contract out of. Still sucks..
