And I read somewhere about the crank pulley eating through crank seals?

I see adding a bigger throttle body on our modified engines is a plus. Is this fairly common in which a lot of you guys have added it? @loginfailed How did you source your fj tb?

    Nice.

I agree as well, but I will take a better accel/ decel response though.

I thought so as well. Anyone have any updates on this?

That would be poor tolerance measurements or poor machining or a mix of both on their part.

This is why I said that @Lucario Runner received his pulley recently. I've seen a few other people on FB displaying theirs, as well. They have gotten their act back together it, shows.

It wasn't that the pulley was eating through crank seals. It was that the crank seals were grooving the aluminum pulley. Faster than the what happens on the steel OEM pulley.

In most cases, people were not greasing the seal, and pulley before installation. Friction did what friction does.

Consequently, a steel sleeve started to be installed with the crank pulleys. Regardless ,it is still highly recommended to grease the pulley and seal prior to installation.

    22030-31060

Got lucky one day and found one NIB for $118 shipped.

Tried setting the boost gauge up with teflon tape this time which AEM recommended. Still reading 0.0 so I think I have a bad sensor. I included the AFR as proof that the wiring and everything works. Hoping to get a new pressure sensor part from them and call it good. we'll see.

    AEM Gauge (proof AFR works).jpg

Modified the craven speed gauge mount to fit these x-series gauges

And here is the bad spark plug that I got in the box from magnuson which caused me a delay in getting another one for everything to work. Gotta contact them about it still...

Is the TB plug n play or does it need to be tuned into the computer? Also, did you have to trim the CAI due to the URD spacer

Plug and play. All you have to do is disconnect the battery for several minutes. Once you restart the truck it will re-learn the idle speed. If you don't disconnect the battery, it will just idle at 1100 RPM.

The more you move the throttle body to the passenger side, the more you'll need to trim off the intake tube.
    • If you just have JUST the throttle body adapter, you might be ok without trimming the intake tube.
    • If you have the only 7th injector, you have to cut the tube.
    • If you use have the 7th AND the throttle body adapter, you have to cut the tube AND extend the coolant lines.

That’s the same question I asked when I received the URD adapter, lol.

Yea it’s not hard to make the gasket. Kind of fun, actually.

yea man, kinda messed up. You get the box of 4 all together, and then 2 singles in their own individual boxes. It was one of the singles. QC definitely missed something.
