Got around to buying a 4x8 sheet 1/8" puck board. I'll spray it all with rock guard this week so it all blends in. Turned out very good I think! No more gaps.

Yeah, it's really great stuff. Super durable, but still flexible and it has a tendency to be slippery so it slides over stuff easy. It also comes in almost every shape and size you could ever want. Plus the thinner stuff can be easily cut with tin snips

I followed your link to see where they were using it on the rally cars. Really neat. They is some major plastics companies near me. I may pick up a sheet to use in projects and what not. Thanx

I asked this member about this very thing too. Here's what he said:

As for the fender skirts, they are made out of .090" abs. I found a company here in salt lake and I bought a 4'x8' sheet for around $50.
I made templates out of poster board. I bought these things called clip nuts? They are literally a clip with a nut coincident with the center of the clip (I'll have to find a pic). So I just used the inner lip of my Glassworksfenders and drilled holes at an equal distance. I also used some factory holes near the engine compartment that the stock liners used. My fenders are line-xed so the inner fiberglass lip is a little stronger over just the gel coated glass.
The abs is your best bet. It is rigid as well as being flexible enough not to need a heat gun to install.

I also went to Napa And bought one truck mud flap for $15 and made mud flaps for the front. This reduced the amount of mud, snow, rocks that are kicked up onto my side windows.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Kind of late to the party but hit it with scotch brite to give it a matte finish; we do it all the time to a lot of different plastics to hide tooling marks.

Aluminum, that was the rough cut. Here is the final product.

Uhh.. your whole cab mount is gone.

How labor intensive was that? I know there’s a relocation kit or something of the sorts. Nice.

Alpine designs made the mounts for my truck. He sells the kit now on his website for $150. Just cut off the whole factory mount and weld on the new one. It comes with poly bushings and everything. I have since plugged the big hole with 2.25 plastic pipe caps.

Do you get any type of rattle from the aluminum? I've considered this with pop rivets but my truck makes so much noise already lol.

Are you worried about rust with those rivets?
