Good Car Wash Soap

well i felt like i was jacking the other thread so i thought i would start my own...
ive been washing my truck with dish soap once a week and now found out that it is BAD for the paint. so i need recommendations on what a good car wash soap would be and if the ones with wax in them are any good?

 

I personally don't like the ones with a wax in them... But i do like McGuires or Mothers

 

For myself I use Zep-O-Shine wash/wax on both my Yota and work truck. Then I finish it off with Ice liquid wax once a month.

I used Meguires Gold Class wax on my new Mustang this weekend... and the Cobalt... Good stuff.

Had the truck professionally detailed and glazed by hand this past weekend... Gotta wax that this weekend and my mother-in-laws mini-van (I offered, but I get a case of beer out of it)

Honestly, two-in-one products (like soap + wax) are not nearly as good as if you were to use each product independently on their own in 2 separate steps. This is consistent w/ any 2-in-1 though (polish/wax, etc). Although there is nothing wrong w/ that type of product, if you're using it solely to replace the "wax" step in a detail routine, I'd suggest otherwise. You're much better off washing the truck then finding an easy to use wax to apply afterwards. THEN, if you want to use the wash+wax product to boost the layer of wax you have on there during your routine washes, that'd be the way to do it imo.
Anyway, if you need an over the counter product, Gold Class is probably your best bet. If you were to order something off an online store, I'd point you in the direction of Poorboys Super Slick n Suds, Chemical Guys' Citrus Wash n Gloss or something of that nature. Btw, most of these companies will make a wash-n-wax product too

I've always used Blue Coral wash n wax

 

turtle wax ice wash is pretty good......and meguiars and mothers washes are good too....and relatively cheap.
