Sure, the more data we can get to Matt I think the better off the tune will be.

I hate seeing him swamped with data but this way he can do side by side comparisons and narrow it down to common characteristics and anomalies between trucks and tunes...

note, in Techstream when you are setting up the logger and you have the list setup with these items, there is an option to SAVE the list, SAVE it and rename it "Tacoma List" or "Tacoma Logging" that way you can always reselect in the future.

Now that you have that setup and connected to the truck go to
    FUNCTION > SNAPSHOT CONFIGURE
this will open some options for the logger

On the bottom set the time to : 30 or 60 minutes

the data I need is >
start the truck on cold idle, let it sit for 2-3 minutes
driving around how you normally would until it is up to temp
2x full throttle pulls to at least 5000 RPM in 2nd gear or higher
    idle, hot 2-3 minutes.

you can capture all of this in 1 single log, save the snapshot (I recommend save it to your desktop, makes it easy to find) and then email me the snapshot data. Please do not export to CSV, I will do it.

Please do not add ANY flags.

These two are also AT only I believe, although not labeled as such. Couldn't find them in the list when I was creating my custom list

It’s amazing seeing the MT crew work together to help get this resolved
Unlike those auto clowns who just complain

Looking forward to the update, running on 1.03B in the mean time.

I mean, who knows, perhaps the auto guys would do some logging if they were in the same situation. But there does seem to be a lot more whining about stuff in the alpha tune thread. Idk about the new auto trans specific thread

Got Techstream downloaded, not sure what function to choose - connect to vehicle? then at what point do a choose what to record? Perhaps it will be intuitive when i plug in to the truck.

Look at it this way,us M/T guys like to drive our trucks whereas the A/T guys just want the truck to drive itself. So it makes sense that we want to be involved in the evolution of this tune whereas the A/T guys want it done for them ;) They probably drive out of the way for full service gas and to get the air checked in their tires too or have their wives do it for them.:stirthepot:

Yeah you're going to need to have it plugged into the truck to proceed.

Right, figured that much... but i assume i use the "connect to vehicle" to get started? I just don't want to go clicking random buttons in techstream. I'm a techstream nooby.

Also, right click on the shortcut for the techstream program, choose open in folder location or whatever it is, and then copy and paste the main menu file from the folder that you extracted the files to, into the folder that opens when you chose open to folder for the techstream shortcut. You're replacing the one that is there
