Can anybody help me please. I bought a 6 1/2 maxtrac with 5100 bilstein . I have a 17x8 TRD Pro wheel with a 0 offset and a 4.5 backspace. I have a 1.25 wheel spacer. Just need tires. Can I get 285/75/17? Don’t want to do cab mount chop. Don’t mind trimming plastics. Any suggestions on tire size tire I can use. Thanks — looking for recommendations.

It barely rubs on the cab at stock spindle height. The 285/75/17s will honestly probably not rub with 2 more inches of lift.

Man, I know this is from a while back but what are you running to get 7"/ 6"? I just bought 4" Maxtrac spindles and 5100 Billies with 887's to give me (according to Marie) 6.5" when set at 0. Then for the back, just a 4" block and the RCD Extended 5100 Billies.

Every calculation/ measurement I've done says I'm going to be nose high 1" with that setup (20"/ 21.5" stock before lift). Do you (or anybody?) know if I can do a single AAL to get to 5.5" with the 4" block, and will my extended length 5100s be long enough? I can't see ANY WAY it will sit level with just a 4" block in back. Stressing me out...

Just sent @Leo4x2 a PM regarding this but here is my dilemma...

My stuff should be here by Thursday according to UPS, and my install scheduled for next week. I have two reputable off-road shops telling the same thing- that I don't have enough rear lift to get to level, that I'm going to be 1" nose high. No way I want that! They're both saying that 4" Maxtracs + 2.5" (5100s at 0 with 887 coils) equals 6.5", simple math right? I'm only getting a 4" block for the rear, but my stock rake is only 1.5". Leaves me 1" nose high. I believe @TacoTuesday91 and @Leo4x2 both had rakes similar to my 2016 TSS? But yours is Level with Dakars (2") plus a 2" block correct? They're both saying I need another 1" or 1.5" (from an AAL I assume) to level it up. WTF man, I wish I knew...

You're definitely 6.5" and 4" correct. Sorry man, I just need some advice. Marie is great but sort of non-commital on this.:confused::confused:

Anybody have any advice on which hole to use on the Maxtrac lift blocks? There's a center hole and an offset hole; Maxtrac install video on YouTube says center hole but instructions that came with blocks say offset hole can be used to mitigate driveline drop.:confused::confused:

I can only share my own experience and hope it helps. I am running 4" maxtrac kit with eibach 620 springs, stock shocks up front, and a 3" block in the rear. I sit with the rear about 0.5 to maybe 1" high in the rear, however I'm running a plate bumper front and rear, and the front weighs twice as much in front as it does in back. I would say google the difference in eibach 620 springs vs 887, factor for the 1" I lost up front from the weight of the bumper, and you should be able to more or less figure out how you'll sit. Or, just install what you have and if you don't like the stance, add some front armor! lol hope this helps

Solmimi, I will look under my truck tomorrow and see which hole mine is mounted through. I did not do the install, but will check and report back.

@Ddotsiemanym, thanks very much for the follow-up. Actually on my way to the installer. Labor rate was good and there is no substitute for using a lift vs. crawling around on the ground. I'm hoping it goes well.:fingerscrossed:

Ok, I was hesitant to post a picture the way it is now because I know the haters or go ahead on my little wheels but that's okay. It'll look a lot better when my tires come in on Tuesday. Thanks to @Leo4x2 , @AustinNative , @TacoTuesday, @ChadsPride and everyone on the 3rd gen maxtrac spindle thread because everyone contributed something.

And of course, thanks to @HeadStrong Off-Road and Marie for her expertise. Post a couple more when my Falkens come in.
