Thanks! I’m really happy with how it turned out, I was nervous before starting. I made a cone of painters tape by wrapping it around my thumb, then transferred the cones to the lug nuts.

    Thanks for sharing that.

Thinking seriously about doing this to my wheels after I get my new tires.....and hopefully there will be no pollen blowing around at the time.

Satin black is what I want.

Get inside the bed, and have someone with a light go around the truck. Look for light leakage into the bed. Good indicator of where water might leak in.

With this being my first bed cover install... it looks straight and tight. It even feels snug. So if i see light, i need to put some rubber seals in those spots?

Sometimes you can just adjust the clamps holding it down and take care of the gap.

    Hey Greg,
First, you and I would be devastating together with some fire and raw meat!

I started cooking at the age of 8 ever since I could reach the stovetop. I've literally burned the bottom out of grills. It's nice how you share your passion in your posts. Always makes my hungry though!

Ok, down to it. The Morimoto fogs were easy to swap out. It's just one screw holding them in. Some go in through the wheel well. That seems to me like the hardest and takes the most amount of time. Some guys with long enough arms just reach down to them without any issues. My arms are way too short for that. So like some, I removed the grill and the two vertical radiator flow vanes. There are two screw bolts, and two push clip holding the grill in, and then each vane has one push clip. The entire removal process too nearly 5 minutes. Reinstalling took as long.

Once out of the way, there is a single screw holding the fog light in. Once out, the entire unit can be fed through the hole in the shroud out the front. You test the polarity of the wires (mine, and most, if not all, are red/green and black/white) before inserting the wire pin ends into the connection housing.

Then just reassemble everything In reverse. The whole procedure took me about 45 minuts.m

Thank you, I have a lot great influences here on the forum. Today I'm installing Predator tube steps.

    Rob
