anyone here use krylon rust tough on leaf springs... (dakar ome)

I just got the Dakar hd leaf springs (elo96r) and like what most people say that the paint is not the best. but then again they are leaf springs and being shipped bare.

I didn't want to hassle with taking them apart etc... was just wondering if anyone here just sprayed some krylon rust tough enamel on these leafs or others, and was wondering if they had any issues or anything along those lines?

I don't see anything bad doing it but just curious.

 

Wondering the same but was considering using hammerite on them before install...

works great for squeaks and shedding water off.

 

That stuff is great. I use it almost every day. I use the Blaster brand. Prob same stuff.

 

Did you remove the leafs pack individually or just sprayed them on while leafs are still together?
