To use the hardware from the Tune, in TechStream, at the top of the program, you should see "Setup". Select that and go to "VIM Select". Change interface to "OpenPort 2.0 J2534".

Once you "connect to vehicle" then do the following below.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ine-ecu-reflash.515734/page-165#post-17378987

I'm writing this from memory. Once you connect to the vehicle, select engine and then data list. You should be able to customize a list and start logging.

For anybody curious, I discovered that you can still allow Windows Defender to run and build an exception for PCMFlash. I had previously reported that I had done this and it didnt work, but I tried again and it worked for me this time around. I went ahead and made the exception for everything in the folder that I have for my maps and drivers and software, so more than just PCMFlash is protected

Windows Defender is crap. Better to leave it disabled.

You need to be connected to your truck to set up the list,I will send you an invite to the discussion. I believe I still have the 103.b file for the 04B12

I also did not get one, but I didn't expect one either since my log wasn't including any issues.

I forgot to add any issues to my email, I have the same intermittent stumble, flatspot, hickup or whatever you want to call it in low rpms, speed, gears.
It really is very intermittent and doesn't happen often but it's frustrating as hell when it does it. Seems like fuel, spark just shut of for a split second and then catches up. I think it only happened two or three times in all the time I spent logging yesterday.

Personally, 1.03C. 1.03B is excellent, don't get me wrong. But I felt that the throttle was a little too much of a hair trigger and so I really appreciated Mat releasing C for us. Yeah, yeah, a lot of people as a result say that we don't know how to drive if we prefer C (mostly Auto trans guys), but they're not driving my truck.

I prefer 1.03B. The RPM doesn't jump when idling w/ the AC on like it does on 1.03C. Plus I like the throttle response and feel of it vs 1.03C.

Working on a test file now 1.03c00...0001 and with ~100 miles it's pretty good. A hand full of us are helping Matt get some MT quirks worked out and this test file seems pretty good. I'm going to stay with it for at least 500 miles and while in my Moab trip coming up this week.
